So do we want to revisit the question of who we would prefer Wiley Booth or Peak? I'm willing to chide myself for my doubts about going after the kid once learning about that nonsense he pulled with his hat during his press conference. But I at least can say I never favored Booth or any of the TT kids of the '14 class over him. Now my hope is that III puts in place a system that allows Peak and others to more freely use their abilities to produce wins in March and hopefully April.

His ranking is laughable, but that's what happens when you're as highly thought of as he was as a sophomore and don't perform up to lofty expectations during the summer. If rankings were based on how he performed last season at Whitney Young, he'd be a consensus Top 40 prospect with considerable upside. Unfortunately, that's not how that business works.
However, just based on talent alone, kid has it in abundance and looks like a future pro.

L.J. Peak, 6’4”, SG, 2014, CP3 Playing in his home state, Peak (a Georgetown Hoyas pledge) got off to a fast start scoring 24 points in his first game and double figures in seven out of eight games. Peak’s scoring prowess was a key tool for the EYBL runner-ups as he averaged 16.5 points per game compared to 11.3 during the regular season. Peak was always active on the offensive end whether it was throwing down dunks as he drove through the lane, hitting pull-up jump shots, or shooting three’s. Peak played with the confidence shown during his junior season in games against Simeon and was often the go-to guy for CP3. - See more at: hoopniks.com/nike-peach-jam-top-performers-stock-risers/#sthash.cCJD8O6C.dpuf

Justin Young @justindyoung 15 Jul In the 2 games I saw of LJ Peak, I saw a guy that could be Gerald Henderson like. He's an aggressive wing. I like aggressive wings.

This kid is going to be an exciting player for us--he really seems to step up under the spotlight. Hopefully that can carry over to his teammates. I always look forward to every GU season, but it's getting harder not to look a little past this one to get to the next one. If we get Elbert, I may have to find a time machine!!

That could have been a link to a quantum physics academic journal and it would have made more sense to me.

With the recruitment of Peak to replace Brill at 2, I see less and less playing time for Domingo. Kid has the size for 3 but he should be playing 2 with his skillset and frame.
