Made me laugh. Are the Nets allowed to have their entire roster on 10-days?

In his first game back in Memphis, Jeff Green was injured in the middle of the 3rd quarter with a facial laseration after taking an elbow to the head from Zach Randolph and didn't return to the game. He finished the night with 8 points on 2/5 from the floor. Let's hope he's okay!

Everywhere he's been on every level Otto's gotten better and better. once he fine-tunes his game, he'll be pretty damn good.

In all seriousness I'm still holding out hope for a HOF career, or at least a very productive and historic one, based on that fact that his game just keeps maturing and maturing. His perimeter game is night and day from when he won BE POY. If he has the perimeter skills he has now (increases handle, shot-creation, etc.) he might've been a favorite for NPOY

And he just keeps working. That's a heckuva combination.

He has steadily gotten better and better. I'm not sure he'll ever be an All Star, but he'll be a highly productive and valuable player for a good team. Smart teams will want him on their roster.

Yeah I mean I don't think he'll have the HOF flash, but I'm hoping that once his career ends people can look at his total body of work (which I anticipate will be unique) and realize that he's been super productive and can make a case for being historically significant. I agree with you hat he might make few, if any, allstar teams, but he will be borderline and remembered more for his clutch moments than his inability to create a dedicated fan base. But who knows, maybe he becomes imposing on D and is Kawhi-lite in 3-4 years.....either way I think he eventually becomes a bigger force than anyone anticipated.

I'm a Wiz season ticket holder (god help me) in addition to, of course a big Otto fan. I agree with you guys that he has improved every year, from frosh at GU to this season with the Wiz. However, he still has to take another step forward in his game, to hit the big money, when his rookie contract ends after next year. His handle needs to continue to improve along with his strength. Most important, however is his habit of becoming invisible for long stretches of games (on the offensive end, only.) Some of it is Wall not looking for him..but sometimes he literally just does not want the ball. Right now he is a 12 ppg, 5 reb and 1.5 steals guy..which is very valuable to plenty of NBA teams....but he has a ways to go before he is even borderline All-Star, as discussed above. The good news is that if anyone can take that next big step, it is Otto.

The good news is that if anyone can take that next big step, it is Otto. Yeah I don't think you're telling us anything that's not common knowledge. Except Wizards fans (like myself) don't seem to fully understand how truly ball dominant Wall is (my favorite player in the world) and how it's that Witmans system isn't conducive to getting the 3 the ball unless it's in semi-transition, especially the development of Beal. Otto is proficient at running the break, but Wall doesn't trust his guys enoug right now to just catch that outlet pass near half court, he often penalizes his teams strengths by feeling like he's the only one hat can bring the ball up so if he's not rebounding it he's usually not looking to get end-to-end as soon as possible and that's where Otto excels (and Ariza did). For John, passing to his teammates is feast or famine and if he doesn't trust you during a particular stretch he'll look away from you and I think it's just been a slower transition to the Ariza role than John expected because in the past he has Ariza to bail him out in any situation where he was going full speed at the rim and leaving his feet to jump. At first, Otto didn't know which spots John liked to kick to the most, but now those spots have changed and Otto has gotten more confortable. Now, it's just a matter of the rest of he team/John realizing that they can trust him and that's a process. My point being, I think a lot of Wizard fans also feel like Whitman is holding Otto back to an extent and would be much further along if he was treated like their last #3 pick (who also has big holes in his game). He's putting up those productive stats despite playing generally underwhelmingly, which to me says that he's primed for a big jump once his role increases. It's tough because the Wiz have been injured all year and have a bunch of win-now players that you can just plug in to see if they work and Randy has been focused on getting the right fit. It's telling that with Anderson healthy Otto's mins have remained somewhat consistent because Anderson is the perfect piece to fix the thugs hat have been plaguing the Wizards this year
