With Greg's size and defensive abilities, he will make the L if he canknock down his perimeter shots. I don't know if the Nuggets game will be the normal or a outlier..........

Impressive performance for GW. He may be able to stick because he has the versatility to play 3 positions and in the East could be a valuable defender to somewhat slowdown Lebron. Speaking of Cavs, Bennimon is doing pretty good for the Cavs in summer league though he probably won't stick since they are loaded at power forward.

What do we think the chances are that Whit and Jabril make their respective teams?

Would Whit's jersey go on the wall? If Anthony Tucker or John Turner are any indication, no. Still would like to see Georgetown put up the pre-1972 jerseys.

What do we think the chances are that Whit and Jabril make their respective teams? I'd say odds are pretty good Greg ends up on an Nba roster sometime this year. Summer League is a tryout for all teams more than for the team you are playing for per-se. He probably made a good enough impression to get invited to some teams training camp if not The Heat...

Although Tucker and Turner actually competed for other colleges prior to being drafted and making the NBA. I thought Greg never even made it to Rutgers, much less competed for them. Again...doubt he goes on the wall.

Jabril looked really good in summer league and has alot less issues than Whit (which NBA teams factor in). I think he has a better chance of sticking somewhere because his defense, toughness, ball handling and dribble penetration along with 3pt range are valuable at the salary he would command.

It may take a year or so just as it did for Hollis and Henry but Jabril could make it considering all the admirable qualities he brings to the table (height, athleticism willingness on defense, capable outside shooting when left opened, strong build, a good enough handle to get to the basket at times, vocal, hunger/desire).
