Otto had 14 and 6 rbs tonight, as the Wizard remain undefeated and beat the Heat in the tournament round. Led everyone with a +18 too and once more shot the ball very well. Should look for his shot more though. But at least most like what they are seeing out of him. Meanwhile despite one somewhat decent early game Anthony Bennett continues to look like somewhat of a bust. Only those who place the ability to dunk over everything else still cling to the notion that he has tremendous upside. Like at Georgetown, it looks like Otto is at his best when he's in constant motion, either with the ball or cutting. My worry is that when it gets to the regular season, he's going to get buried in the corner just for Wall to dish to in pick and roll and Beal is covered.

Otto and Wiz take on a Spur's squad that includes Bryce Cotton and Kyle Anderson in the next game.

LAS VEGAS -- Otto Porter's been a different kind of guy at summer league. He's been cheerier, upbeat, sure of himself. Now, if the Las Vegas alumni club (just me by myself) were there this year like last year, Otto would probably have posed for a picture with us (which he declined last year). (We did get a picture with PEJr though.)

I'm confused. Otto doesn't look like a bust there at all. That's really weird. It's almost like Otto must have been hurt and not gotten any run last year or something. Not to mention, OP>>>>>>>KA.

That’s what I’m talking about, this is the Otto Porter I know! I also thoroughly enjoyed Otto showing Kyle Anderson that even though it’s Summertime, class is still in Session..

It was fun watching them go at it all game and especially seeing Otto get the best of him. However, Kyle got 'em real good with a crossover and floater in the second OT but all that did was set up that incredible three-pointer from Glen Rice Jr to send the game to triple OT. About as classic as a summer league game could possibly be.

Why wasn't this on NBA TV. Why is that crazy commish Adam Silver trying to nickel and dime us over Wizards's summer league games.

The blackout is really a low blow because the thing is summer league is almost over, so basically you end up paying for the last 1-3 games depending on the Wizards performance as opposed to being able to watch every summer league game if you had purchased the SL pass at the beginning of summer league. It's a dirty tactic by the commish.

The second half of the game and the OT's were on NBA TV and I watched Otto playing like he did at GU. I have Verizon Fios in Montgomery County. The first half was blacked out..I believe for the benefit of CSN, which broadcast the first three games. However, they are now showing soccer and other stuff. NOt sure why it became available at the half.

That game, especially the second half and OTs, was really fun to watch, especially considering it was summer league.

Andy Katz on otto's summer league: Otto Porter Jr., Washington Wizards | Grade: A-minus Porter and Rice are like the Jordan and Pippen of Las Vegas Summer League; the two of them worked so intuitively together in the Wizards’ close victory over the Spurs. Porter, specifically, handled the ball as he did in college, with him bringing the rock up the court, often leading the break and finding Rice for a go-ahead transition 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter. As well as he played, though, scoring 27 points of his own, the question remains whether the former No. 3 overall pick can find comfort in a more off-the-ball role in Washington, something he’ll have to adapt to as he plays with John Wall and Bradley Beal.

All of the summer league games aren't broadcasted live on NBA TV, so it allows people the option of seeing those games live as well as any previous game on-demand. It's a fantastic price for what you get.

NOt sure why it became available at the half. DC area twitter users went off on the blackout last night. But none of them realized stupid CSN, which has contractual rights to even summer league games, was at fault by not broadcasting the event. I had to keep up with what was going on on the court through national twitter users. Luckily NBA TV replayed it at 9 AM this morning (eastern time). By the way for those of you who didn't see Otto's first three games here are the highlights (sadly none have yet been posted from his fourth game in Vegas).

Okay, maybe tonight's game should have been blacked out instead.

His midrange game from any spot is money. Watching the highlights was like Chinese water torture for the opponent. And, as we saw when he was in college, he makes the guys around him better by making the right passes at the right times and reads defenses really well. Get em OP.
