It's unreal to me how bad Hibbert has looked. Is he just worn down? What has caused him to lose his confidence?
At his size, and with his touch around the rim, he should never have zero-zero lines. Something is up that I think will surface soon. Poor Roy, he's a Hoya favorite and I'm pulling for him.

Something is up that I think will surface soon. Poor Roy, he's a Hoya favorite and I'm pulling for him. It's already surfaced on Indiana sports radio and on the Pacer forum for the last couple weeks. Google, "Roy Hibbert Paul George rumours" and that will explain everything. The Lance Stevenson and Evan Turner fight during practice in the first round of the playoffs is also connected to it. Hibbert is mentally not there because of what has transpired in the Pacer lockerroom. None of this was Hibbert's fault but Hibbert is in pain because of the actions of some really selfish people on the Pacers. The Pacers are done this year. Gotta like the cameo from JT3 on the TNT broadcast... cut from a shot of a good play by Roy to JT3 looking pleased in the crowd.
Glad to see he's out there supporting his guys (and increasing the program's visibility).

Bigtime advertisement for the program and JTIII after the game. In his postgame interview, Roy noted that III is a big part of his life. They then caught III with a big smile waiting to give Roy a fist bump before he walked off the court. TNT commentators/analysts keep mentioning that "his coach was there". Pretty cool.

Very, very happy for Roy, and good for JTIII for being there. Saw some local media people on Twitter trying to start a "controversy" as to whether it's ok for JTIII to be in public supporting Roy against the home team. This is completely insane, even by sports talk standards. Does anyone think JT2 or Dean Smith or some other big-time college coach would have said to one of his struggling former players, "I can't be seen with you in public"? This better not become some sort of talking point...

As a Hoya fan I'm happy for Roy but as a Wizards fan I keep thinking to myself "We let Roy Hibbert score 30".
Whatever. We're still winning this series.

Well Done Big Roy! And... could there have been a better ad for JT3 and GU? I hope all those 5 star centers - Rabb, Stone,Comanche, etc... were watching tonight Add the 4 stars too -- Egbunu. Georgetown has its groove back and is on the rise! So is Big Roy!

Yeah and those lousy Miami Heat let him score 28 in the ECF last year. They suck too. The Hibbert disrepect by everyone got way out of hand. People act like he can't play cause of those games. Lol

I'm a wiz fan. But honestly over the past nearly ten years Roy has been more fun to watch. Not to mention no silliness with guns or the joke that has been the wiz franchise for years. So I have no problem fully routing for the pacers.
Besides this is also one of those times when you re allowed to root for anyone if it gets to Miami losing.
I even cheered for San Antonio last year. And I hate Tim Duncan.
