Saw this when it happened and it was filthy....R.I.P to the young man in the Yellow shorts... Whittington played really well in this game. I think he finished with about 20 points. Defensively he was very disruptive defending the perimeter, leading to a number of steals and transition baskets. Offensively he was very smooth attacking the rim off the dribble. He hit a couple of 5-8 foot floaters that were very pretty. If he can play like he did that night on a consistent basis, he could well get a look in the NBA at some point.

There was a noticeable difference in how the team played when he was in the game vs when he was out.. Caught them a couple times and he brings it every game the only thing I don't like about Greg's game right now is his body language when things don't go well. Definitely think he's on an Nba roster next year... Hopefully the Knicks..lol

For those who don't know, Jabril is also a member of the Sioux Falls Skyforce

Saw this when it happened and it was filthy....R.I.P to the young man in the Yellow shorts... I saw it live also and jumped out of my seat. I love GW's potential and think he will have a long NBA career, but every time I see him have success in summer leagues and NBDL, I get sad as to what could have been that season if he had only handled his academic requirements. Would have had a deep NCAA tournament run and possibly 2 top 10 picks in the draft with Otto and Greg! With Greg and Otto on the floor together, that team was long, athletic and would have easily been the best defensive Hoyas team in the JT3 era. They were a ridiculous defensive team without Whittington who was easily the team's best defensive player. So so sad as to what could have been.

Scott Brooks looks as if he will be the next Wizards coach.

Scott Brooks looks as if he will be the next Wizards coach. Is that to try to lure Durant?

Someone made an interesting point: If Durant was such a big fan of Scott Brooks, he'd still be coach of OKC....BTW look for John Wall to have issues with Scott Brooks.

Can't believe how many people watch D-League playoff games... Not just D-League playoff games, regular season D league games, WNBA games, high school games, kids in my neighborhood playing ball in their driveway... If there is a bouncing ball and hoop I'll watch. Addicted to the game!

The main things Otto needs to improve on are of course his core strength but most of all, his ability to create his own offensive opportunities. As of now, he can't be counted on to carry a unit without John Wall on the floor creating scoring opportunities for him either in transition or spotting up around the perimeter. If he could only become marginally better doing that and maintain that 40% clip from three for an entire season, he could become a really good pro.
