Beat me to it. I start rooting for the Kicks again once the "volume shooter" is gone. I was rooting for him to leave during the off season so I (in NYC for the foreseeable future) could finally become a Knicks fan. Oh well, eventually I will be able to enjoy an NBA game at the Garden You have a lot of company in that regard.

They need to pick up one of our Hoyas as a major contributor before I can pull for them again.

Don't forget about drafting Sweetney only to bury him behind the likes of Vin Baker, Othella Harrington, Antonio McDyess, Kurt Thomas, Clarence Weatherspoon, Malik Rose, and Keith Van Horn. I blame Knicks mgmt for driving him to the buffet.

The Jerelle Bennimon Era has ended in Denver. Was rooting for him. He was a turnover and foul machine during preseason. Basically a turnover a minute, which was the same problem he had here.

Otto had an encouraging preseason. In the 8 games, he avg'd 13 pts(led the Wizards) in 27 mins, shot 49% from the floor, 47% from three. As well, he played surprisingly effective defense (at least according to the Wiz's radio announcers during the games). Stumbled at the line, though, shooting just under 63%. No reason to think that he won't shoot better than that over the long haul.

No reason to think that he won't shoot better than that over the long haul. That 47% from three equals playing time. He can defend and play good team ball. But the question was always going to be when he'd extend his jump shot range to the NBA three. If this holds, he's a darn good player.

Henry went 6-9, 5-6, for 17 pts in the 76er's loss to Detroit. He only got 1 rebound, though, in almost 36 mins.

Yes, but Othella was pushing thirty and about to begin the back 9 of his career, hardly the the future of the orgnanization. Just like the rest of them.
