top seeded indiana pacers one loss away from being eliminated against 8th seeded atlanta roy played another awful game. has to be the biggest drop-off of a production from midseason to end/post season i've seen since julian vaughn in his senior year There are some rumors involving Hibbert that you can google that explain why Hibbets head is not in the game and why the Pacers lockerroom is in turmoil and disarray. The Pacers are going to have to break up the team. maybe the Wizards can get Roy for cheap. He needs to get out of there.

I don't think anyone is getting Roy for cheap, since he is owed over $30MM in the next two yrs.

I haven't been following this series for various reasons. To someone who is, why is Roy not shooting more than 1 time in 12 minutes?

Roy is making about 20 percent of the shots he takes at the moment, so very unclear that the answer is shoot more. He's just a mess on offense right now, and it's hurting his defense as well. Hawks are a bad matchup for him, but still, he's been awful and there's no sugarcoating that. If they manage to advance, I hope he gets it sorted out and plays better against the Wizards. Gortat is a better matchup for him as a traditional 5.

Roy's legs must be dead. He played hard during the playoffs last year and then worked hard during the off-season and then played hard in the first two-thirds of this season, but for about a month and a half he hasn't been able to move or jump or shoot.

It seems as if Roy is coming to life today: +18, 4 blocks, 4-7 for 9 points, 5 rebs into halfway through the 3rd quarter.

Nice bounce back for the whole Pacers squad. Not sure why or what has changed but, as always, I'm rooting for the big man. Win this sh%t Roy!

Roy with 0 pts, 0 rebs and 5 fouls in Game 1 against Washington tonight. What a puzzling stretch of ball for him.

twitter.com/ScottAgnessScott Agness @scottagness A beyond furious David West, on Hibbert: "He’s got to be part of the fight. H’s got to be part of this thing for us to go anywhere.” Scott Agness @scottagness David West, Roy Hibbert and Rasual Butler appeared to have a talk in the weight room. Doors were shut. Guys declined to talk about it.

As much as I love Roy, he deserves it. Earlier in the season the Pacers (Roy included) did a lot of woofing about how great they were. I don't know what's going on. Roy just looks slow to me. I mean slower than usual. An injury perhaps?

I mean slower than usual. It's not like his play doesn't deserve to be mocked, but then again, not like those two clowns spent a lot of time in the second round. McGrady didn't get to the second round until he was the last guy on the Spurs bench (unless you count the year Rockets made it to the second round when he was out with a back injury, which Wikipedia does). And Arenas' can really hang his hat on that one time the Wizards got swept by the Heat in the second round. Basically, Roy needs to get it together

Was really hoping that his game 7 performance would carry over and he would be able to put this behind him. Guess not. Need him to turn it around pronto. Preseason this looked like he and the Pacers had a chance to win it all, but certainly doesn't look like they have a chance anymore.

I can see him struggling defensively, as both ALT and WAS have guys who can pull him out of the paint. But what is going on with his offensive game?
