Isn't this the same guy that said Anton Gill was pretty much a done deal to Georgetown?

Depends on what tweet you want to believe. There are other tweets indicating that he is visiting GU on May 8.

Next you'll tell me that some cable "news" networks' business models are based on riling up their (left wing or right wing) viewers with phony controversies and fabricated & overblown crises just to drive viewership in order to maximize advertiser revenues and profits! Say it ain't so!!

Visit is not happening...we are no longer a candidate. At least we know so that we can pursue others. I wonder what this means for Anton.

let's close this thread and move on, avoiding a depressing post-mortem by unqualified coroners.

Visit is not happening...we are no longer a candidate. Guess UNLV has him locked up and told all the coaches that but Cooley is doing a hail mary in a last attempt try to change his mind. Crean did the same thing when we were recruiting Moses. Came in at the last second when it was pretty much a done deal and got Moses to visit Bloomington. Crean almost pulled it off as Moses loved Bloomington. In retrospect it ended up not being a big deal but like OldHoyasFan said I think Moses' basketball career was really derailed by his injury and he was never the same athlete.

He is from Oregon, went to HS in NV, and probably would like to stay out west. Gonzaga is a much better program than UNLV.

My main issue is that G'town will have a better roster than any of the programs on his list and he won't even take a free visit to hear JT3 out..

It's also slightly annoying when a recruit openly states that he values academics and then opts for a place like UNLV.

Or did he mean academics are a factor as in I need a place where school won't get in the way of ball?

Well this is more painful than it was before. He decided to visit Ohio St the weekend he was supposed to be here. Did someone on the staff kick this kid's dog or something?

This kid has highest bidder written all over him. With Gonzaga & PC on his final list? Doesn't seem likely..

Well out of high school I believe he chose Washington over Harvard as his final 2, so he's a good student.

Well if his choice was Washington over Harvard, and now is UNLV over Georgetown among others, we know he does not put academics first...
