Aspects of his game are reminding me very much of jeff. I think otto's game is more complete if comparing the early part of their freshman campaigns.

Good point! Especially when he gets 40 minutes off the bench! Agree. I actually really like it when when porter and whittington come of the bench at the 17 minute mark and spearhead the press. Within the first few minutes of a game, the opponent has to adjust to two totally different looks from the hoyas making it very tough for whomever we are playing to settle in. If it ain't broke.... Inigo Montoya: I admit it; you are better than I am. Man in Black: Then why are you smiling? Inigo: Because I know something you don't know. Man in Black: And what is that? Inigo: I am not left handed! (cue Otto and Greg checking in) For some reason I thought of this when Memphis was up early before Otto checked in.

Any more kids in the Porter pipeline want to come to DC? There are a couple of Porter cousins in high school that are good players, though not quite on the level of Georgetown. Bubba does have a brother, Jeffrey, in 8th grade who is going to be a really good one....though it is too early to say just how good.

Otto probably gets the BE ROW tomorrow if the BE awards one. In a week full of BE loses, Otto made the BE look good by greatly contributing to the pre-season BE #10 ( ;D) defeating #8 Memphis. He just fills the stats sheet...

I dont know if its mentioned enough on here that Porter has one hell of a motor. Id be curious to see his second half minutes becuase it seemed that he was in most of the half.

Like Sleepy, Iverson, and Clark, Otto seems like one of those athletes that just doesn't tire or sweat much during games despite heavy minutes and high activity.

Otto has a cousin Bobby Hatchett who was the point guard for Midland Texas the Juco runner up at Hutch last year. He is a soph playing for McLennan Comm College in Texas this year. One of the most exciting players I have ever seen. He also played for Scott County Central. I think he can play at a high D1 school. There are a couple of Porter cousins in high school that are good players, though not quite on the level of Georgetown. Bubba does have a brother, Jeffrey, in 8th grade who is going to be a really good one....though it is too early to say just how good. Could there also be some sisters or cousins for the Lady Hoyas? is bobby considering joining his cusin on the hilltop Pretty sure he'd be there in a heartbeat. He and Otto are very close and I think it would be special for both of them to get to play together. It really depends on what JTIII needs and whether Bobby can fill that need. Bobby's an extremely quick pass-first point guard with a very good handle. He also has good defensive instincts and active hands. The biggest problem is his size (5'11 160) and (last time I saw him) inconsistant outside shot. I haven't got a chance to see if he has progressed since high school, but at that time he had several Mid-Major schools recruiting him.

Honestly, at this point, I am fully in favor of any relative of Otto being a Hoya. Those kids are properly taught how to play basketball.

Plus, maybe it will help keep Otto in school a couple more years so he can play with his cousin. I think 3 years is the absolute maximum amount of time Otto will be on campus.
