Hoya Saxa Preview:

"Georgetown's three wins versus Bucknell since 2001 are the most of any PL opponent in this era, but it also has lost three straight by a combined 11 points. The team that plays its best and avoids turnovers can and will win this game, and with it gain something both teams haven't seen in a long time in PL circles: respect."
Note form Coach Kelly:

"We all sense the importance of how big this week's game against Bucknell is toward achieving our goal of winning the Patriot League. They have been playing good football and are also out to a 3-1 start. We had a good practice this morning and are looking to continue that trend throughout the week. As it has been since the beginning of training camp, there will be a big emphasis on finishing. Bucknell has a +11 turnover margin, one of the best in the nation and has kept its games close, so we need to make sure we limit our mistakes and are strong in the fourth quarter. "
From the front page:
"And how's this for some pre-game trivia: the last time both teams had a winning record entering the game was Nov. 5, 1938, when a 5-0 Georgetown team hosted 4-1 Bucknell at Griffith Stadium. " Hoyas won 13-0.
Voice article about the sharing of time by the quarterbacks:

"“Bucknell presents a lot of problems schematically,” Kelly said. “They run the ball very well and [quarterback] Brandon Wesley is an excellent athlete. He’s very slippery and makes some plays, so we have a lot of challenges ahead of us in defending Bucknell.”"
Game perspective from lehigh:

"There have been many seasons since Georgetown joined the Patriot League in football in 2001 that the Hoyas' games against Bucknell were inconsequential to the league championship chase.
In fact, in many recent seasons, the battle between G'town and the Bison was merely to see who would not finish last.
But things seemed to have changed this year, and when the Hoyas visit Lewisburg on Saturday in a battle of 3-1 teams, the rest of the league will be watching because the winner will have established itself as a genuine championship contender."
Must win game. A big margin of victory would also be nice to see. If we win by multiple touchdowns it will show we're for real and have a chance versus lehigh and Holy Cross.
