Adios Cheseheads. Take a Lambeau Leap into the off-season. See you in August when you thaw out. Too bad none of your DBs took a leap at the ball on Nicks' second TD.

If I were Sean Payton, I would have told Malcolm Jenkins to take a cab to the airport. Get home the best way you can. Your stuff will be in the parking lot when you arrive.

Are these the same Giants the Redskins beat twice?

Nope. Those weren't the same Packers that beat NY a couple weeks ago, either. Oh well, I guess I'm off to the deep freeze until August. Best of luck to the Giants the rest of the way!

Myra Kraft must have deflected the Ravens' kick. Lucky, but they are in the Super Bowl!!!

Are these the same Giants the Redskins beat twice? Actually no, the giants got back a few key injured players that have propelled them on this crazy run. Most important has been the play of Bachagaloop Jones he has just been a beast! Look for him to make the difference against the patriots.

These games were fun to watch but more like the PGA tour with mediocre Tiger---they were lost, not won. How Lee Evans doesn't hang onto that ball, sad. Cundiff will get the blame and he had his part--but Evans letting Moore rip that out--and not getting 2nd foot down to make it a reviewable play-horrific.
How did Alberto Riveron get not only a Playoff Assignment but the Conference Title game? Same could be said for Muscles Hochuli. 2 awful officiating crews rewarded. Think Muscules is still on field explaining the OT rules to everyone? Or a holding call he saw we dont' know about?
Unreal job by Belichick this year with that defense. Tom Brady's postgame comments are why I am a fan of him.

every week i watch college and NFL games and wonder what the heck punt returners are thinking when they go near a ball when it is bouncing around. catch it or let it go. don't play chicken with a ball that can bounce any direction from one bounce to the next.
i love brady but he was bad yesterday. the pats were worried about suggs getting to brady. in 2 weeks they are going to have 4 guys like that coming after him. not a good matchup for the pats. defensively, i don't think NE can handle nicks, cruz and mario with their db's.

Amazing that, in this era of coddling players, two coaches who coach in a Marine Corps drill instructor mode, are in the Super Bowl.

Amazing that, in this era of coddling players, two coaches who coach in a Marine Corps drill instructor mode, are in the Super Bowl. I actually talked about that down here last week. We were going through the potential story lines. Obviously, the one we got is a rematch of one of the best Super Bowls in history, and specifically arguably the greatest single play in Super Bowl history. But as to your comment, I thought the coaches would really be the adopted story in 2 of the other possible matchups. Obviously, a Raven-49er matchup would have given us the "Super Baugh," pairing up the Harbaughs against one another. And if the Niners were playing the Patriots, then I think the storyline could easily have been the matchup of Harbaugh, the young, arrogant and cocky coach who doesn't care what you think and almost gladly, rubs people the wrong way against Bellichek, the older, crotchety coach whe doesn't care what you think and almost intentionally rubs people the wrong way. In any case, at least it wasn't a rematch of one of the worst Super Bowls in history and probably the most boring in recent history -- Ravens and Giants, which by the way, was held in Tampa and is the only Super Bowl that I ever went to. Well, not actually "went" to, but we did drive down there Sunday morning and hung out all day taking in the atmosphere. We were going to spend a couple of hundred bucks a piece on tickets if we happened to stumble into some,, just for the experience, but we when all was said and done, we were really glad that we didn't get tickets.

Amazing that, in this era of coddling players, two coaches who coach in a Marine Corps drill instructor mode, are in the Super Bowl. Nice limited sample size. Look at the last five super bowl winners -- only Coughlin would be considered a "Marine Corps drill instructor" type of coach (whatever that means). I'd also dispute that Belichick would fall in to that category.

Besides being a Giants fan, I am so happy at this outcome since I will not have to hear ad nauseam about the Harbaugh family and this unprecedented brother vs. brother match-up.

If there is any guarantee about the weeks leading up to the Super Bowl, it will be that there will be at least one if not more topics which you will hear about ad nauseum until you can't bear it anymore and want to gouge your eyeballs and eardrums out with knitting needles. Early nominees on the Patriot side include: Tom Brady wants revenge and Myra Kraft. Early nominees on the Giant side include: Is Eli better than Peyton and, I don't know, something annoying about New York.

Jim Caldwell out in Indy. I wonder if Peyton is next. It sure seems like that is the plan. Indy owes Peyton $28 million in March They dump Team Prez/GM Bill Polian -- who drafted Peyton and whom Peyton always trusted to put the best possible team on the field with him. Now they dump the coach. I think Irsay is setting this up to save himself $28 million, bring in a new management team and coaching staff, and start all over with Andrew Luck. Thanks a lot Peyton. Here's your hat, what's your hurry. Oh, and don't let the door hit you in the back on your way out.

This is the same owner that orchestrated the midnight move from Baltimore to Indy, right? Dumping an all time great QB is right in character. Just surprised he is not moving the team to boot.
