;)Jahlil Okafor on Georgetown offer: "I'm humbled by the offer and this just motivates me to continue to work and get better."

He's apparently already been offered a schollie by DePaul, Illinois, Arkansas, Michigan St., and Ohio State. This guy looks like a diaper dandy in the making.

Who do you like more, Okafor or Dakari Johnson? Similar size, skilled cats.

Reminds me of Hibbs a bit. Thought the same thing (not in appearance, but in how he moves on the court)

Absolute beast! Pitino and Calipari in Chicago to watch Jabari Parker and Simeon take on Okafor and Whitney Young. Simeon wins a close battle. Okafor got in foul trouble but he pretty much had his way when he was in there. Kid gets better and better every time i see him. If i had to pick between Okafor and Parker, i take Okafor hands down (for Hoya purposes). Great hands, high basketball IQ, soft touch and attacks the basket. Plays well beyond his years. Still can't believe he is only a sophmore.

Pick between Okafor and Dakari Johnson. Hoyas have offered both, though Okafor is more skilled at this point. Both are top 5 2014 kids.

Is he related to Emeka?

I have only seen Dakari Johnson in a few video clips so i can't really compare him to Okafor. The easy answer would be to say take whoever wanted to commit. Okafor is an instant double double guy in college. Heck, if he played today he would help alot of college programs.
Hoyaatheart, he is a distant cousin of Emeka.

Jahlil is going to have to takeover for Whitney Young. They have had a ton of injuries. Jordan Smith, Jermaine Morgan (Colorado State) and Tommy Hamilton jr (top 30 jr class, knee injury) were all out against Simeon. Also watch for Paul White on Whitney Young (top 25 in 2014 class). He's a 6 ft 8 forward but with Smith out, he has been bringing the ball up and has been jump starting their offense from a point forward slot. I like him alot and he would be a nice fit for the Hoyas.
