Good. Keep him in the conference. With the loss of Pitt, Cuse and WVU we need some of the former power teams in the Big East to step it up.

I think this indicates that he created a lot of smoke around his recruitment. I'm not sure he was that heavily recruited by any other big-time programs. I would've thought he would commit somewhere more high profile if the opportunity presented itself. I'm not sure that opportunity existed. Could be like when he claimed a European team wanted to sign him for 750,000 and the team rep denied it, saying that they would have to pay the team 750000 for them to sign him.

Good for him and for Kevin Willard/SHU The Hall is on the rise. Kid will get an opportunity there. Wish him the best.

I've got a feeling we're seeing a "mini me" of Jordan Goodman.

Sounds like a good fit to me. Balance of power in NY/NJ shifting from SJU to SHU.

We weren't really recruiting him, to the best of my knowledge. Sure JT Jr went to a few games, but that, in my opinion, doesn't really mean that GU is recruiting him

One thing JTIII is obviously trying to do is build a program with long athletes that are "basketball players" (a lot of people have different views on this topic). And he wants these players to be 1. Long and 2. Be able to play multiple positions. To me, it seems like III is fine with a 6'5 combo guard such as Jabril bringing the ball up the court and starting the offense. As we all know basically every player in our offense serves as a point guard.
