And that Mamadou guy isn't even on the top 100 here. These rankings are just all over the place.

Scouts rankings are worthless. they are more accurate than rivals IMO. Domingo's ranking sounds about right to me. Harrison Twins at #2 and #4 wow...

It's a real shame now that Bossi, Meyer, Telep, and Daniels all work for separate companies the overall quality of all the rankings has gone way down hill. Now none of them are worth much on their own. Taking their average gives you an ok picture, but with 1 guy with no one to balance them out all these rankings are very biased by the experience of that what that one person saw or thinks.

Prior to this most recent update, Domingo had dropped to 85th on Scout. Since then, he has made the U17 team over much more heralded prospects, and is currently starting and playing quite well. So instead of a bump up he gets dropped five places? That makes zero sense.

Sounds like we need to start a Hoyatalk recruiting service...with the least biased rankings around! *Except of-course the G-town commit bump ;D

As a high school player playing in a relatively weaker compeition in NorCal where he averages less than 20 points.... to me, that sounds like a 4 star in SCOUT'S standard of evaluating high school stars. Do I think that there are truly 89 better players in his class? No. But I do think in terms of how scouts/rival rate players, that does sound about right.

Rankings are great for generating discussion, but in the end, they don't really matter. At least to me they don't.
