I actually have Domingo pretty high up on my list of guys I want the Hoyas to land. He'd be a great replacement for Hollis. That kind of length and shooting ability is a serious weapon.

no doubt, but if he's an SF then he's behind Troy on the list. Would love to add another shooter though.

It is prudent to have a few backups behind Troy.

Respectfully disagree. If Domingo wants to commit you take him now. Done are the days where we freeze a top 25 kid in favor of a top 10 kid. A guy like Domingo would have a big role to play in our offense (see Hollis) and would likely be around for 2 to 3 years. In fact, Domingo is ahead of Hollis at the same stage in their development. I'd happily take him and shift our focus to adding another PG and a big.
Domingo would be a huge step towards landing a top 10 class. That in my mind is more important than landing any single player. (See Whitt, Porter, Hopkins, Trawick and Adams.)

Why are we still talking about PG, SG, SF blah blah blah? This is not how coach thinks about recruiting and judging from where our players end up offensively or how we switch defensively it doesn't really matter.
6'8" and has a reliable 3 point shot? take him

Yeah, we're in no position to slow play a top 30 kid for a top 10 kid. That's how you end up with the short benches and non-contributors of the last 3 years.

I'll join the chorus here. You don't pass on a really good prospect because there is a possibility that you might get someone a little better. That's nonsense. I haven't read anywhere that Placido is ready to commit, but if he does, welcome him with open arms.

also add the fact that athletic wings have been avoiding us for a while - Troy Williams reminds me of Quincy Miller from last year - except he will probably end up at Kentucky or UNC. Gotta be realistic as well.

Bump. Looks like he's on campus this weekend according to his twitter. Would be a nice replacement for Hollis.

Get him, get hart, and a big..... Add them to otto, whit, jabril, markel, DSR and others and you have a top 10 team. Replace any of the new guys with pollard, Noel, or Williams and we are a top 5 team.
