I'm ill-informed about Kenner and everything that goes along with it. Can somebody please elaborate (dates, teams, purpose, location...)?
THANKS!

It's at McDonough. As for schedules, it generally starts in early-mid July I think. We won't know teams/schedules until right before the games start, and even then they will be more of an educated guess than a firm schedule.

Is the China trip before the usual Kenner start or after?
And the usual Kenner start I am using is around the 4th of July Weekend.

China trip is in august i believe, so I wouldn't be surprised if Kenner is either pushed slightly earlier or shortened.

First rule of Kenner League, don't talk about Kenner League.
The Jabbo Kenner League a mythical thing that arises from the Hilltop mists every 11-13 months. There are no fixed dates or rosters or schedules and sometimes the administration just flat out forgets to submit the registration paperwork to the NCAA altogether, so you really just need to stumble across it in a haze of midsummer/midday drunkeness. Just follow the smell of poorly cooked hot dogs and the screams of deranged madmen who have been induced to "coach" one of the amorpheus teams. It's a magical place though where guys like Hank Sims can look like future lottery picks.
Also, remember to bring a pair of sneakers yourself, because much like at Texas A&M there's always the possibility that they'll turn to a member of the crowd to fill out a roster.

Excellent Beerfest reference rosslynhoya.
Kenner league sounds like a good time and ill definitely keep an eye (and nose) out for it. I wouldn't mind getting dunked on by a Hoya.

You'd think that with so many kids coming in we'd have to break up the Tombs roster.
Also with the NBA lockout (the Vegas summer league has already been cancelled) looming I'd imagine lots of area NBA'ers (Hoyas or otherwise) may join for a weekend or two

We could do that and it might be a smart thing to do, but there wouldn't be anything wrong with having 7 hoyas( 5 freshman and 2 returning players) on the tombs. I would expect Starks to be with the freshman and maybe hollis as well. I expect clark to be on a different team and run the point.

That's cute. You guys are talking about teams and rosters like they actually mean anything.
Next you're gonna' tell me those hot dogs have actual letter grade meat in them.

We'll have seven Hoyas on the Tombs. Won't be the first time.
Adams Hopkins Porter Whittington Trawick

the screams of deranged madmen who have been induced to "coach" one of the amorpheus teams. On that note, where is everyone's favorite poster BTB with the insider info...isn't he a Kenner "coach"?

Nominees for the Hot Tub Time Machine? Easy Ed as GM/Coach BTB #1 Fan/Security Ed Sheffey Transportation Director Bill Shapland Media Relations/Postgame Spread coordinator Lorry Michel--Contact Lense Support Staff Starting 5: Tillmon "grey hair is my birthmark" Sherman Douglas--want to see the between the "walker" pass Ronny Thompson--go small ball one last time in McDonough and he can interview/translate profane rants from Pops Pops at Center in crocs (profanity required) Paul Taglibue--he either plays or has to go back and fix NFL in place of the overmatched Goodell. Bench: Esherick--makes games more competitive and has Blake in crowd hunting for signs to destroy. Day Jack, Rhese Gibson, and Jameel Watkins--So they have age related excuses to miss the layups. Chip Simms and Kayode Vann--bench support Kevin Millen--every team needs one. Edited that on Kevin. Let's leave him alone.--Admin
