Super news!!! The Committee will take it into consideration. There's no doubt that Chris will show up and go 100%. Everybody loves Chris!

This kid has come so far this season alone. He has become our leader and will head the charge when we go into battle.

Here's to hoping for a Friday first round game to give him as much time as possible to recover.

Why does anyone think that he will be any where nearly as effective as he was before the injury? I think that this optimism is being inflated beyond reason.

I am guessing you are the kind of person who would be mad to win 50 million in the lottery cause you have to pay taxes on it. Nobody is predicting Final 4, just happy the dude is playing next week.

If Snoop Dogg says we're going to make a deep run with Chris back, then we're going to make a deep run with Chris back. Why is that so difficult to comprehend?

God forbid anyone be happy our senior leader gets to finish his career on the floor instead of on the bench. The horror of supporting our players and celebrating the fact the aren't hurt anymore.

Absolutely this. Win or lose, I couldn't be happier for Chris that he gets to finish his career on the floor and not on the bench. I don't thin anyone expects Chris to be his old self but I, for one, don't care. Talk about awful timing and bad luck. As bad as we've all been feeling about the past 4 games, it has to have been killing CW. Welcome back Chris!

I think it is entirely reasonable to expect Wright to play well:
1. He's a senior with four years experience in the toughest conference in the nation. 2. This was his non-shooting hand so I'm sure he's been dribbling, shooting, passing a bit. 3. His cardio will be fine. 4. He's tough.
Good for him. Good for us.

Wright's conditioning will be fine. Will he keep shooting like he was when he went out? Maybe not, but he definitely makes us MUCH better than what we have now. And it takes the burden of Austin to do pretty much everything in terms of bringing it up and keying the offense. Jason, Julian, and Austin are used to playing with Chris, and we can get back to that rather than have everyone trying to find their new role.
We have a good chance to win at least one and a punchers chance after that if we start shooting well again.

Why does michaelgraham think he won't be anywhere nearly as effective? Have you been at practice? Are you a sports orthopedist? I think that your pessimism is being deflated beyond reason. None of us know how strong CW will be or how much of the normal Chris we will see. I prefer to be optimistic that he will be able to play well, even if not 100%. You are free to believe what you like, but please don't try to impose your pessimism on everyone else. You know no more than we do.

We are just glad that Chris will be able to play. That should be a morale booster for the team (and the fans as well). And I hope we play on Friday to give us (Chris) more time.

Although it will be hard to wait that much longer; then again, the tournament is more exciting when we are still in it, so anytime we are scheduled on the second day of games(Friday/Sunday, then Friday/Sunday again) is good!

just having chris out there directing traffic against a man or zone defense will be a huge boost to us. question for michaelgrahamloser.... exactly how many points did chris score when we took out Louisville?

The committtee did it's part by giving Chris the absolute maximum time to get ready with the late Friday night start.
