Potential Syracuse killer. Would be a great fit for flashing into the middle of a 2-3 zone and hitting the jumper or passing over the defense.

bronx,
That can be changed, but ultimately the kid has to want it. There are alot of kids that don't want it.

I like Porter better too, but Porter ain't coming.
If we take him, it's not because we NEED a 3/4 this year, so it will be because JT3 really likes his potential. Works for me.

Interesting that over on the Maryland board, their main guy is saying that has firm offers from MD, Clemson and DePaul but not from Georgetown and Texas, Whittington's supposed "dream school".
Texas has 6 commits for '11 and apparently no scholarships left, while we seem to be dangling one for '11. Not saying this dude's word is gospel, but he's usually spot on. If it is true, maybe the staff feels confident about Porter yet knows Whittington will be there in case Porter picks Mizzou.
I don't like that strategy, but we'll see ...

Porter is someone we need to pull. We need to win a battle like this over Misery. Misery is a good school but the conference and the area of the country is second rate. Gtown has all the advantages over Misery as far as national exposure etc......This kid represents the future of Gtown bball in that he is built the way we need our kids to look....long and rangy. Kid has a Tayshaun Prince minus a few inches vibe to his game.

True indeed god? .. really Bronx!!?!?!? I doubt anyone here has Knowledge of self or are 5% .. lol .. your hilarious!
But anyway .. If we can convince Porter this is where he needs to be - so be it .. I don't like our chances simply because he has yet to touch the campus , his family name has deep roots in that area(local stars) and not only is Anderson a good coach .. but mizzou fits his style of play . He'd be a stud for GU and if Kirby can make him/parents feel comfortable with being away from home that would be key.

Bronxie always pays tribute to gods and earths. 5% are everywhere but in hiding even on college campuses across this great nation. K.O.S. is always important. If we can get him on campus that will be huge. Any news on that front? True indeed god? .. really Bronx!!?!?!? I doubt anyone here has Knowledge of self or are 5% .. lol .. your hilarious! Greg had 15 points, 11 boards, 7 blocks and 6 steals in his win last night.
* Texas hosted another combo forward yesterday, Kevin Thomas. so, he might be their man anyway, we'll see. They will have spots left, though. at least one early entry on that team.

Has this kid ever faced stiff comp in a high school game? Bronxie saw some footage and he saw a kid playing vs Greg W. who reminded him of a young Bronxie in high school after a stop at the Ponderosa all you can eat buffet on Central Ave in Yonkers.

in high school..doesn't seem like it.
did face some good comp down in Orlando this summer in the national AAU event he played in and by all reports, held his own.
Maryland reporter for Rivals said he had been one of, if not the best player at the Rock Summer League this year, though & also believe one reporter said he's the most talented player in the state (which for them to say so, says something IMO..since Nick Faust is the one actually headed to UMD)
