Jesus promised if thou decree a thing, it shall be established unto thee. I claim victory over your son' condition.

Thanks to all. There is nothing quite like the boost my family gets from the love shown on this board. Great night of Little League. For the first time this year, we went from coach pitch to the pitching machine. Harry stepped right up and ripped the third pitch up the middle for a single. Just great stuff.

Elvado,
This board owes your son and your family the thanks. I don't think I'm only speaking for myself when I say that what you have shared about what you're going through and what you've gone through has provided not just inspiration but a tangible connection to the things that are truly important in life. Not having an update on Harry is just about the best thing I can imagine. For the update to be "great night of Little League" is exactly how it should be for a little boy. I'm so very thankful that that's the news to report. In the coming days and years, I hope that all of the updates are things like Harry is on to middle school and Harry went on his first date and Harry got his acceptance letter from Georgetown. May all of this be in his and your rearview very soon. Your caring as a father and Harry's strength as a human being, much less as a little boy, have been a waypoint for me personally and I can't thank you enough for sharing what you have. Continued good health and good luck. You all certainly deserve it.

I have a baseball question for Harry.... does it drive him crazy (as it does me) that hitters like Texeira and Ortiz are such pull hitters that a shift can be employed against them and they never work on hitting to the opposite field? Trivial questions in Harry's thread!!!! It's a good day!

Amen to that. 4 days to kindergarten graduation. For those in the DC area, my little superhero will be at the Nats game on 7/6. We would love to put some faces with the beautiful spirits we've met out here.

Elvado, are the Nats playing the Phillies? And, any chance he gets to see the Stras pitch?

Nats will be playing Colorado. Barring a rain out, makeup game or other event which would change the order of the rotation, as of today Strasburg would pitch on Friday the 6th. Hope things hold and Harry gets to see Stras pitch a victory.

Harry graduated kindergarten today. While it is the first of many, it is amazing nonetheless.
