Wonderful. I'm so happy the trip went so well. Just figured out why Michael Young is so nice; he went to UCSB. I did some research and taught there about the time he was born. ;D

I have had an absolutely awful awful day, and started to doubt the goodness of people but just reading this thread made me so happy and reminded me that there are so many GOOD people in this world. I am forever grateful that I have my health and wonderful family and friends around me.
I'm so happy that Harry and your family had such a great time. Trips like that are memories for a lifetime.
Harry Saxa.

At DFW waiting to fly home. What a trip. Harry lived it up all the way. Make a Wish is a fabulous organization who handled everything. Can't say enough about the Rangers organization and specifically Michael Young. May he remember this trip for the next 80 years.

I live in DC, but I was in Dallas and at the game on Saturday night. I caught a glimpse of a message on the big screen that the Rangers welcome Harry from Philadelphia and thought, could that be the legendary Harry Saxa? Apparently it was!
Elvado: tell Harry that there was another Hoya in the crowd thinking of him on Saturday night in Texas.

Great day of Little League. Harry played catcher for an inning and got to be in his first, albeit accidental, home plate collision. Popped right back up ready for more. Just great.

That's the way, Harry. Tell him that I played catcher one year in LL, and nobody stole home on me. Of course, I never threw out anybody stealing 2nd or 3rd.

Latest round of immunotherapy is in the books. Harry powered through as always. Got a visit from Andy Reid and was on the 6 pm news. Still root against Eagles but have new appreciation for Reid.

Nice moment last night. Andre Iguodala hit game and series winning free throws for Sixers while wearing his Team Harry bracelet. Pretty cool. Little man brings good luck. Very happy for Andre.

Perhaps if Osik had a Team Harry bracelet, he wouldn't have gagged the two free throws that preceded Andre's free throws. ;D

Sorry so long without updates, but thank God, all is very normal and quiet. School little league and regular family stuff fill our days.
Harry graduates Kindergarten next Friday (6/8). I looked back at the beginning of this thread and just realized how unbelievably amazing that is.
My son and my family owe the folks on this board a tremendous debt of thanks for the unbridled love you've sent my son in prayers, cards, gifts and simple good thoughts.
Harry goes back in for round 8 of immunotherapy on 6/12.
I can't believe it's been almost 16 months since I opened this thread. Our family's world has turned upside down and back again in that span.
Again, thanks to everyone on this Board. Harry's triumphs are yours.

So Kindergarten done, that makes 12 more years until he suits up for the Hoyas! And only 9-10 more years until we can open a thread about him on the recruiting board
