Great post script to the Steve Neumann story. Harry brings in the picture of him and Steve for show and tell at school. After he describes how he knows Steve and talks about seeing him at the game, some of his classmates asked him for a copy of the picture. He replied, "not without the express written consent of the New England Revolution." His teacher told us she almost Editeded her pants laughing. Sounds like a broadcaster in the making. Should be ready about the time Rich hangs up his mike!

Harry had a scan today. THERE IS NO CANCER IN HIM!!!!!
He will return in a year for follow up.
I am simply speechless at the power of God, the courage of my son, the genius of his doctors, the grace of my wife and daughter and the love and support of family and friends.
To you wonderful people of Georgetown, may God bless you and all of your families for being pillars of strength for a frightened and devastated father at a time when I did not know where this path was leading.
I remain vigilant and will never trust this disease to fight fair but tonight we put our heads down to sleep knowing there is no cancer in my son.
Amen and HARRY SAXA.

WOW! YES!!! HECK YES!!! Freaking awesome news Elvado! Harry Saxa indeed. Love to you and your family. Amazing in the best, most heartwarming way. Just wow. Keep rocking little man! Talk about the best early Father's Day gift of all time. Happy (early) Father's Day to a father that is so clearly loving, dedicated, and devoted to his kiddos. Post of the year by miles.

Happy Fathers Day to all of the fathers. sons, daughter and everyone else on this board from one very grateful father.
Three years ago Harry was a very sick little boy getting ready for bone marrow replacement. Today he plays a Little League playoff game.
Time has both flown and dragged.
Amen and thank you to everyone on this Board.
HARRY SAXA

Happy Father's Day Elvado. It's one of those days that can be too easy to let pass without considering its meaning. Thanks to you and Harry, that's not been, nor ever will be, the case for me again. Seems like a perfect day for Harry to get a game-winning hit, no? Get em little man!

Took Harry to the NHL draft last night in Philly. We worked an Alex's Lemonade Stand in the concourse for awhile and then hung around for the draft. Got his picture taken kissing the Stanley Cup while wearing his Patrick Kane jersey.
Also got a chance to talk with Josh Ho Sang the controversial kid picked by the Islanders. Kid may have said some controversial things but he was as polite and nice as could be with Harry. Posed for a picture with him and happily signed an autograph. His family also made a lemonade donation so I will root for him to do well.
Just a great time all the way around.

If he was kissing the Stanley Cup, shouldn't he have been wearing an Anze Kopitar jersey?

He was celebrating the 2010 and 2013 winners. We are original 6 fans in my house, no expansion teams allowed.

The Astros lost in the second round of the playoffs. Harry had a couple of hits and they lost on extra innings.
He is now on to playing U10 soccer despite being 8. He is getting quite good with the ball. Working on stamina by running at a local track

His heart says Argentina (as he says to complete Messi's resume) but his head says Germany.

His heart says Argentina (as he says to complete Messi's resume) but his head says Germany. So he favors Pope Francis over ex-Pope Benedict (or ex-Benedict as Easy Ed says).

I hope Harry enjoyed the game even though Argentina lost. I thought both teams played well and, up until about the midpoint of the second, I'd have picked Argentina to win it.

He did and while disappointed at the result he greatly enjoyed the match and is still raving about the pure athletic brilliance of Gotze's goal.
He is a very mature sports fan for 8.
