Game notes indicate the broadcast team with be the Syracuse Grad and Jay Bilas. 50% is better than nothing and at least it sets up a drinking game centered around how many times the Syracuse Grad will mention his alma mater who is not playing in the game.

Is there a reason that this game is AT temple? Wasn't it away last year too?

Seeing Temple against Maryland-which can be a small sample size/fools gold, but it's all I can go off since it was only game I've seen them play this season, I'd say:
1. Make them beat you from outside 2. Rebound--keep getting on glass as a team--Owls are very good offensive rebounding team 3. Press them--made some awful decisions against press 4. Move the ball on offense and get ball up into frontcourt in a hurry--beat them before they set up halfcourt defense 5. use pressure to dictate tempo to them.

I want to claim it was free (or at least cheaper). the one time i went to a temple game last year, there was a line to get into the main garage, but it wasn't that bad. then again, that was against duquesne.

Getting conflicting info on ESPN website: Game notes and Front page of ESPN M BB show game as being on ESPN2, but ESPN's TV schedule (TV Guide Style) show it as being on ESPN. Anybody have definite confirmation?
MOD NOTE: The SID told me directly the game will be on ESPN.

MEGAFAN is on the MEGABUS heading from NYC to Philly as we speak. So excited to see the 2010-11 Hoyas for the first time live in person. Tonight is going to be a battle and I've brought my armor! While I think the sky is the limit for this team, no one should fool themselves in to thinking this will be an easy win. Temple is a top defensive team and if anything have underachieved so far this season, so they will be VERY hungry to knock us down a few pegs and re-enter the top 25 along the way. I do have confidence that we are the better team, but we need to make sure we rebound, rebound, rebound as well as play tough defense, including pressure, pressure, pressure! On the offensive end, we need to move the ball, and choose our moments to attack the bucket and even push! Boy, I'm so looking forward to being very loud at The Liacouras Center! If you happen to see/hear a mad man yelling, kick & screaming... and possibly being dragged off the court and out of the center, it's not me! LET'S GO HOYAS!!! OBLITERATE THE OWLS! P.S. Sorry for the third-person self-reference, but that's the way MEGAFAN likes it some times.

On ESPN in the SF Bay Area (ESPN2 has Xavier/Butler). So, if you are DVR'ing the game, it's worth confirming...

OK folks, the level of pre-game banter and hype needs to RISE UP!!! Two hours to tip and we are worried about what channel the game is ON? We're talking about tv-coverage?
I say let's talk about taking it to the Owls, making that Allen guy wince every time a teammate passes him the ball. let's talk about pressing a pressing team and how that always seems to mess up the ones who don't have great Sr. guards to break the press' back. Let's talk about last year, when a 19 hour drinking trip to DC nearly killed me but at least we won that damn game. Let's talk about WHO'S GOING TO WANT IT MORE, US undefeated US or STILL EditedED ABOUT LAST YEAR THEM? I SAY US!

Owls are vermin with wings - oh they're so smart, oh they flight at night - I call NONSENSE on all of that - all they do is take advantage of god given aerial mobility and night vision to kill rats and stuff. anyone can kill a rat - wanna see? (I won't actually post the links, but am stunned at how many videos turn up on youtube if you search "rat kill")
