The Emmy's in general were kind of stupid, though. I like Modern Family and all, but it's nowhere near the best comedy on TV.

SO Happy all the fall shows are finally coming back. The premier of It's Always Sunny was hilarious!

I think Person of Interest is worth a try (no cable, so I have to rely on the networks) with Michael Emerson as a mysterious billionaire and Jim Caviezel. Starts on Thursday. So to have Benjamin Linus and Jesus on the same show might be quite interesting.

However, I was a little disappointed. It seemed a little like Dirty Harry with a twist; a little too much violence for my (and my wife's ) taste. I will probably watch one or two more episodes to see what direction it takes.

I'm with Nevada. I would give it a couple more views, but the acting was stiff.

After the first new episode, I was afraid Curb Your Enthusiasm might be pretty much done, but this past episode was damn funny. Not sure if anyone else liked it, but I thought it was great. Social Assassin! Social Assassin was great. So was "I'm yelling for society." Mmmm, chunky monkey. I can't wait for the Bill Buckner episode. Never got around to writing about it, but I thought this might have been the best season yet for Curb Your Enthusiasm. The last few espisodes were hilarious.

Last season, Always Sunny was a little weak.
This year, however, thus far they've been killing it. I find the Reynolds kids' ongoing love of crack to be hilarious.

+1 Parks and Rec was a better show than Community this season. However, I have to think that Community was more Emmy worthy than 30 Rock, The Office, and The Big Bang Theory. My sources tell me Roy Hibbert will appear on Parks & Rec this season. Tweeted today: @hoya2apacer Watching sum film on Marc Gasol in the post b4 breakfast. Then off to the wright room. Tonights the night. 8:30 on NBC Parks n Rec!

I thought Roy acquitted himself fairly well last night. I was hoping that he'd drop a "I graduated from Georgetown" or a "C'mon man, it's not like I went to Syracuse" when Tom told him to quit talking and start playing Detlef.

I saw the first episode of new Showtime series -- Homeland, starring Claire Danes (CIA Agent) and Damien Lewis (recently returned MIA Marine). Lewis played Capt. Richard Winters in awesome HBO series Band of Brothers.
Danes' character suspects Lewis' of being a secret "plant"... kind of a Manchurian Candidate idea.
First episode was excellent. Mandy Patinkin also plays a senior CIA exec. Good cast.
Looks very promising.

Happy to see more (and in cases, much more) of her. hm

The Walking Dead is as good as ever.
Also saw the premiere of Once Upon A Time tonight. I think it has some promise. I was intrigued enough to want to watch a few more episodes anyway.

My wife was weeping during some of the operation scenes. This show is so good that I might watch it even if it didn't star zombies.
