Interesting that Trawick is only 5 slots behind Tyrone Johnson, who at the time seemed like a big recruiting miss.

You can put Duke next to Cook's name.
Unrelated to us, but word now is Kabongo decommitted from Texas because of a push from UK. Not sure how he would play alongside Teague if he lands at UK (Bledsoe/Wall?), but if he does, they would have 4 of the top 9 guys on this list.
It was always a long shot, and I'm not complaining about our class at this point, but Hood would have been icing to round out this class.

We all predicted the Adams ranking drop a few days ago. Looks like it came true.

ESPN actually didn't drop him. wasn't in their top 100 before. and stayed at the same spot (13th) for centers.
Rivals will be where he takes the nosedive.

You are correct, but.. at the same time.. if someone is ranked 13 for center, you would expect him to be ranked about 65 overall. Not exactly, perhaps. But one would expect the distribution of talent at the 4 different positions to be spread equally, at least roughly. As for Trawick being ranked #70 -- that is a BIG surprise. Can't wait to see these kids in Hoya unis!

Amazing that we managed to pull off the 21st best recruiting class...one notch better than nova. The current freshman were ranked similarly...two nice classes in a row. Hoping for even better things in 2012.

The Adams ranking saga will be fun to watch. I hope these 3 kids blow up during their senior season. There's tons of potential there.

I'm hoping we can follow up solid 2010 and 2011 classes with a Top 10 2012. Really put us over the edge.

It will depend on where Bolden ends up ranked, how many scholarships to give and, obviously, getting top 10 talent.

Anyone notice that 4 of the top 11 are Big East schools, including Rutgers and St Johns?! There is so much talent in the tri-state area that if these 2 programs get their acts together...well, watch out. This league just doesn't get any easier.
Overall 7 of 25 are Big East schools.

Depends on how you evaluate recruiting rankings. SJU and Rutgers are going to get ranked high because of high volume of players they are signing/scholarships to offer. Talent wise-SJU is far superior to Rutgers in who they are bringing in--Lavin has a better staff and is a great recruiter. SJU is getting players--Rutgers has a few--like Mike Taylor, Mack is solid, Jack is athletic,Randall is ok and not a fan of Seagears or Lewis.
