We need big guards because if you look at Nova smalls guard we would match up with them better to body them up more. Cuse always has bigger guards. We might have the inside track since Austin is his cousin I think. hmmm..... I seen him walking around campus Fri and looks pretty big for a youngster

Is he really austin's cousin? That's the first I heard that. He was hear for midnight madness and it sounds like he had a great time. He's teammates with Brandon Bolden. His body type sounds a lot like Austin's.

I heard he was Austin's cousin but who knows if that is true or not. But we should have the inside since he plays with Bolden. Have we offered him yet?

You keep hearing stuff. The fact that he's Bolden's friend, the fact that he came to MM, and the fact that he can go with Bolden to our games during the season will help too.

no offer yet, and I don't think he's related to Austin, either. Could be, but his coach never mentioned it.

I just saw this on twitter about Allerick Freeman. I hope we can put our name in early.
Virginia Tech has offered 2013 guard Allerik Freeman, according to his coach @celticssouth.

Maybe he's related to Courtland?

Article on Scout today says Hoyas are in Freeman's early top 4 along with Villanova, Virginia Tech and UNLV.
"Freeman knows quite a bit about the Hoyas already because of taking an unofficial to Washington (D.C.), but he cited their offense as one of the reasons he likes John Thompson’s program.
'I know they are known for their big men but the type of offense they play and the Princeton offense is a good fit for me,' Freeman said."

Thanks hoyaboya. Nice to hear one of the rare examples of a kid realizing the benefits of running the Georgetown offense.

From Scout's Evan Daniels in Carolina this weekend:
"Allerik Freeman, SG – It’s clear that Freeman has spent some time developing his body. He looks visibly bigger and stronger than last summer and it certainly helped his game on the court. A 6-foot-4, 200-pound guard, Freeman is especially effective in the open court where he uses his vision to find teammates and has terrific body control when he gets to the rim. While he didn’t take many long-range shots, he was efficient from mid-range and showed good touch on his floaters."

We need to lock this kid down. Its obvious early he wanted to be a Hoya but more and more teams will get on him the older he gets.
Hows his ball handling?
Of course, I won't be happy with our recruiting until we get a PG or Starks and Trawick prove they can handle the load for the next 3 years.

I think Hoyas for Troy Williams for obvious reasons. Similar size, skill, athleticism to Freeman.
