Saw Casual Hoya's tweet today that JT3 was watching his game today.
This guy looks like a baby Z-Bo, would take him in a heartbeat. Man I hope we get him.

Sweets obviously ate himself out of the NBA, but it didn't stop him from being the best big man in the nation as a junior. I'd take him again in a heartbeat.

Today's update on Scout suggests Meeks will take his time with the decision - likely to go through the summer. He wants to visit a bunch of the schools recruiting him. Specific programs mentioned include UNC, Georgetown, Louisville, Miami and South Carolina.

West Charlotte junior center Kennedy Meeks hopes to make his college decision in the next couple of weeks. "I've been hearing from Georgetown, NC State, and that's about it," Meeks said. "I've heard from Carolina too.

If Hayes pops then I hope we pass.
But if Hayes drags it out after his visit next weekend, I can see us taking Meeks and Hayes ending up elsewhere.
I'm hoping for the former. I've seen a whole lot more of Meeks than I have of Hayes, but I'll take 6'11 with his frame and athleticism over 6'7/6'8" with Meeks' frame and athleticism without even thinking about it.

yea...kinda hope we pass with the weight issues...but looks like we can no longer be choosey or even pick up scraps on the trail so whatever

If Meeks pops, you take him. Period. Frankly, I'm thrilled he's deciding early. It would be a nice change of pace to have a kid locked up before the summer even starts. Plus, it sounds like he just wants to go to work and get better, so good for him for putting the college decision behind him.
