the second cut, according to him, didn't happen. Supposedly it was put out falsely. I think Kirby has alot to do with GU still being in the picture.

I know Kyle (sorry to say the name) was a huge target for GU, but I have really wanted Parker to come as much or more. This is great news he is coming for a visit. Is he option 1 and Upshaw the backup at this point as far as a big guy goes? I can't see bringing in both with Bolden coming in and the other bigs we have now.

I hope we're treating them as 1 and 1a since Upshaw is much more likely than parker and it'd be a shame to lose him by pressing too hard for parker who we probably do not have a great chance at getting.

they could play together, but obviously they won't with Bolden comin in. I agree they're prolly 1 and 1a

Credible or no? There have been many erroneous reports on Parker so I guess we'll see.

Uggghh. Parker tweeted he would be in NY with Kyle Anderson on Saturday so I think it's pretty clear he's not visiting Gtown. Realistically, we were only on his final list because Kyle Anderson had us on his which is why it was doubly painful when Kyle didn't pick us. I'd bet Parker ends up at UCLA with Kyle. Doesn't seem right that a notorious prick like Howland is getting this sort of class.

On the flip side, with Adams & Ayegba a class ahead of this guy, we should be alright at the five with a bunch of wings that could help out in a pinch (hopkins, porter, bolden, Lubick).

Wouldn't call Hopkins a wing, but he does have a solid face-up game. I'd still like a true five to go with all these fours.

In 2012-13, if we can't count on Adams/Ayegba to give us at least one true 5 (which both of them are)--especially considering the addition of Othella to the staff, something has gone wrong with Big Man U.

Both should give hoyas a punch. You lose Henry, but bring in Bolden. Still like Upshaw. Glad Big O was brought in. He's def got the pedigree and can teach the young bigs a thing or two.

I guess you can never have too many bigs, especially if they can pass. We got pushed around a bit this past year and I think with strong rebounding wings (porter got 35 in the state championship) and better guard effort on the boards, you can be solid.

Jabril is a good rebounding guard. Clark too.

Rebounding is a huge key to our Hoyas' potential for success. Getting after people, grabbing loose balls. It's a mentality. I don't want to hear that we are taking rebounding "seriously." I want to hear that we are taking rebounding "PERSONALLY."

Zagoria caught up with him at Is8 and Tony said he's re-scheduling the visit for early-Nov. not holding my breath, really an on-again, off-again recruitment with the Hoyas.

He cut us again. Not a surprise and it's done now at least.
