I cannot emphasize enough how great it would be if we could somehow get his kid. He's has everything you want in a big man. We need to do everything we can to get this guy.

Jeff Borzello:
Tony Parker said Duke and Georgetown are coming at him the hardest right now.

Sounds like Greg Monroe's situation.

Sounds like Greg Monroe's situation. so the teams split regular season games and the loser of the commitment gets a national title?

This kid at Gtown is the answer to my prayers. If we land Porter and him in 2012 we will be loaded. As I said before stack the deck with better players and you become a better coach. That is how Calhoun, Williams and Coach K get it done.

He just did an update with UNC Rivals site and mentioned: Ohio State, Duke, and UNC as the top 3 on him the most right now.

I thought the Hoyas were out of the running on this guy as soon as they got Tyler Adams. He became less of a priority...which was what I was worried about. But as everybody told me back then during Tyler's recruitment and signing, the Hoyas couldn't afford to lose out on Tyler just to wait on a guy in the following class. Something about a bush in the hand...

Parker was behind Ochefu who we never stopped recruiting. In hindsight we should have kept the gas pedal on the floor concerning both Parker and Ware.

We were clearly still saving room for Ochefu but with Tyler on board it seemed as if the staff no longer had interest in Parker who has a similiar build and style.

My money would be on UNC in the end. But I'd love to have him.

Nothing for nearly two months here and people are now writing off our chances. Why? UNC?

Nothing for nearly two months here and people are now writing off our chances. Why? UNC? Duke and Ohio State get mentioned all of the time. Kid has changed each update who is "recruiting him the hardest" which means that he's got school(s) in mind he knows he'll end up at and just being polite.

I'll be very surprised if he doesn't end up at Duke.

Evan Daniels reported that Tony Parker informed him he is adding Gtown back on his list
interesting...not sure what it means, but I do have to say heck of a job by the staff putting in serious work

This is great news. Don't know what it means, and what our chances are, but he would fill a huge need as an interior scorer.
