Hopefully they do not neuter this kids toughness. Help control the Trawick population. Have your Jabrils spayed or neutered.

Love the attitude... He certainly can talk the talk, or in his case tweet the tweet. I want to see him walk the walk... "MyCultureSpeaks: Do you see yourself contributing right away as a freshman? JT: With Chris Wright and Austin Freeman leaving there will be opportunity for the incoming class to contribute. Every other player in my class is a post player and there is no one on the team that matches my athleticism as a slasher. With my Philly toughness and heart I’m sure I can contribute right away. MyCultureSpeaks: Who is your favorite player in the NBA? JT: I like Lebron James, D-Wade, and Derrick Rose. I try to model my game after them because of the way they attack the rim and stay explosive.

He says he has good handle but not PG handle nor the PG Mentality. He says he can play the point on a limited basis

He says he has good handle but not PG handle nor the PG Mentality. He says he can play the point on a limited basis In an ideal world, we can get by with 12 minutes of Jason and Jabril in the backcourt, sharing PG duties (or Hollis if he can handle it as well). If we can get by for 12 minutes (15 if I can be greedy) sans Markel without falling apart, I think we can handle the lack of another PG on the roster.

Is there another Hollis on the squad? Because if you are talking about the one Bronxitos is thinking of.......................YIKES

Because if you are talking about the one Bronxitos is thinking of.......................YIKES No, I didn't mean Hollis at the 1. I meant a Jason-Hollis or Jason-Jabril (or I guess Jabril-Hollis depending on how far along Jabril's handle is) approximating a backcourt with a passable PG. By no means am I calling for Hollis to play the 1.

I don't think Chris Wright was a point when he arrived. Jabril looks very athletic and probably could learn - so who knows now how it will end up. I'm glad we got him - a more than solid keeper.

Like the fact he got into it with SJU kid at the IS8. That type of attitude/competitor has been missing.

Chris might not have distributed like a point guard early in his career, but he never had trouble dribbling the ball up. Quick, strong, and tight handle. With our offense, we don't need a great passer at the point position in the half court, but we need a guy who can get it across under pressure and get us started in the half court.

5/28/11 thehoopsreport Jabril Trawick and Angel Nunez will have a dunk-off for the Dunk Contest Championship here at the Mary Kline Classic. thehoopsreport Jabril Trawick just threw down a between-the-legs dunk in the 2nd round. That will be a perfect 50. thehoopsreport How do you top that? Angel Nunez just threw down a between-the-legs dunk off the bounce from the opposite side of the rim. thehoopsreport Jabril Trawick and Angel Nunez are both athletic freaks, especially Trawick. Watch out for both in the Big East next year. thehoopsreport Georgetown-bound Jabril Trawick won the Dunk Contest. He threw down a 360 dunk to win it.

Am I the only person worried JT is gonna hurt himself playing in meaningless tourney's or entering dunk contests?
I love the fire he has, I'd just like for him to save it for G'town now... haha
