SF, you think Lebron would have a better shot in New York than Chicago ... at least from what we know now? If ... and of course that's a big factor, but IF Lebron were to go to New York and David Lee were to leave, then I don't think that team would be better than the Chicago team with Lebron added, but if Boozer is added to the Bulls roster, which seems to be the frequent rumor if James goes to Chi town, then I have to like that team more than the Knicks version with James. You're right though, whoever gets him will be a lot better quickly.
Lastly, I haven't heard a lot of talk about Cleveland, at least what they will be like if King James goes elsewhere. I mean, there was the team that had the best record in the NBA this past season. Now James is really the only marquee player on the team, so that lends instant credibility to whatever team does get Lebron, but what about the Cavs?

I'm not a Boozer fan. I'm not really sure how Boozer at max helps that team. And LeBron and Rose? I mean, do you ever want the ball out of LeBron's hands? It's a great fast break, sure, but otherwise, isn't Rose essentially useless with James on the floor?
I just think NY has a better chance to bring in shooters and defenders than Chicago -- though Noah can be the Anderson Varejao there. Stoudemire is better than Boozer, IMO, as well.
That said, I see your point. It's probably pretty close despite Rose and James being bad fits for each other.

To summarize the LRMR website:
Blah, blah, blah - to get LeBron you have to go through us - blah, blah, blah.
I mean, it's true, so more power to them and everything. But there's nothing in that website.

Congrats to Lebron. He has managed to obtain a position as Dwayne Wade's butler. He has also managed to turn Kobe Bryant into the good guy for the upcoming year.
It's great that "King" James is crawling down to Miami to join Dwayne's team. With this level of gutlessness, had he gone to college it most certainly would have been Syracuse.

Very true. This "King" must now be referred to as "The Butler" or "The Caddie" or "The Fish". Like some scared prison newbie Lebron finds it necessary to seek sanctuary tossing the salads of Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade. Be a man and win in Cleveland or end NY's title drought. In your new role as Wade's Beeotch at least stop with the talc powder thunder clap before the tip. You are no "King", leader or man. You are now just a 2 bit diva that couldn't get it done on his own.

On the other hand, he's likely to be a two-bit diva with several rings on his fingers over the next few years.
It's worked out pretty well for Kevin Garnett (OK, only one ring for him, but still).

He may think he's King, but he's not even Sheriff in Miami-WADE County.
I actually give him credit for realizing he does not have the sack to win without Dwayne.

Eh, I get where RDF's and Elvado's anger come from (I mean, it's always there), but I really don't understand why LeBron is such a loser if he goes to Miami.
He's still the best player on the team. He'll just play more of a Magic Johnson role than a Michael Jordan. That could be construed as running away, but it also construed as just knowing what type of player you are and really wanting to win a ring above all else.

He's the best player on Dwayne Wade's team. If Lebron goes to Miami, he'd be the 2nd best player on Dwayne Wade's team. Lebron is more Scottie Pippen than he is Jordan. And as far as Chris Bosh goes, he is another joke. Anoher Jermaine O'Neal as previously mentioned. Miami would have been better off signing David Lee, who gives you more as a PF than Chris Bosh ever would. If you are looking to build a championship caliber team around a franchise player like Wade, you put guys like David Lee around him in a support role, not Bosh. Miami better hope and pray Lebron does go there, because they are the same team with Bosh going into next year, as they were this past year. Chicago, Orlando, and Boston are not losing sleep over a Bosh & Wade combo.

LOLOLOL, I cant believe all the people saying if LeBron goes to Miami, its "Wade's" team...why?? they didnt win anything last year, they finished at the end of the pile. Perception changes quickly, no one will go if they win, Wade led his team tot he title. They will talk about it being an evitablity with those 3 stars. Also Worthy isnt considered a sidekick, he is still considered one of the 25 best players ever, and he was the 3rd option on that team....
I do agree that Wade and Bosh doesnt equal much improvement, which is precisely why Lebron going there automatically doesnt make it Wade's team. No one even got all up in arms when Wade and Bosh signed yesterday, Today is garnering so much interest aroundthe globe, IT further proves that it isnt Wades team if he goes there. I personally think hell stay in Cleveland but if it is Miami, I think he is taking the easiest way to a ring...which i thought was the reason they played....Vets will be lining up to take the Vet min contracts, Mike Miller supposedly has been offered one by the Heat. if Lebron announces Miami, Miller signs tomorrow. All this its this person team and that persons team is only pertinant when it means who is taking the last shot or facilitating the last shot. Magic took alot fo last shots for th Lakers, but i sure remember him just dumping into Kareem alot and getting the hell out of the way. As far as Legacy no one cares if you are a winner. No one goes McHale got all those titles because of Bird. People go he is the best low post player ever. I think if he does go to Miami, the fact is one or two of them will be playing significant minutes against teams second teams getting points cause they will be able to cruise most of the game and bury teams when they go to the bench. Dont need much in terms fo go-to guys after those 3, get some role players to balance out the roster, they are poised and set. not to mention Miami drafter 2 bigs in the 2nd round Pittman and Varnardo i believe.....to me it looks like they knew this was gonna happen.

Yup, only need to go back one year to determine how good of a player Wade is. You are making it seem, I'm saying Wade sucks...I'm not, but the team that won the title had alot of other parts, like a Shaq who could still dominate(Payton, Zo...hall of famers)...it really wasnt Wade's team even then. He just manned up to a infinite degree when they fell behind in the finals....so save the rolling eyes thing People have a myopic view of things like this(not saying you KC) because they look in the present and don't think of the future how events change and shift. I'm saying (now this is to you) that Wade has a much to prove as Lebron and/ to a lesser extent Bosh(who really isnt an elite superstar anyway)

Shaq gravy trained Wade for that ring. Wade was definitely the best player on that team, and led the Heat to the title.
Now, that said, I agree that the LeBron hatred is baloney. Wade-LeBron reminds me of West-Baylor. I think they'll be able to co-exist just fine (if that's LeBron's decision). I also don't understand the Bosh hatred (although I agree that David Lee would have been a better choice). He's not even close to being a superstar, but in that role, I think he'll be just fine.
It remains to be seen if guys will flock to the Heat for the minimum. Really? Players are going to give up $5 million a year? We'll see. I personally think that the Bulls would have been LeBron's best option if he wants to win a ring, but if the Heat are able to fill up their roster with good players, I could easily be wrong.
By the way, my money is still on the Cavs.

See the amount fo help needed to get a superstar over the hump....that was my point. it wasnt like Wade did all himself, Most fo the role players on that team were former NBA all-stars and/or NBA 1st teamers. Wade carried that team in the playoffs, so he is thought to be a 1 man team. this past years Heat roster look at it, and look at that 2006 team and you'll see the point I was making.

I was about to come on here and post feigned excitement now that it's only FIFTEEN MINUTES AWAY! ...But you beat me to it. Really, though, after this announcement, we all have to prepare to live in a post-Lebron-James-free-agency world. A pre-Lebron-James-free-agency mindset just won't suffice. By the time everyone wakes up tomorrow, everything will be different...forever...and ever. It is impossible to overstate the significance of this event.
