From the Kenner League (Nike Pro City) thread it looks like Blaise made an unofficial to the Hill Top and toured around with Othella. You can't teach height and Roy more than proved they can teach the big man skills if the desire is there. He is at the Peddie School in NJ which is a solid place for him to grow academically and on the court.
Per Alex Kline/Twitter:
Blaise Mbargorba, a 2012 NJ Roadrunners big man, visited Georgetown unofficially recently.

I retract my statement earlier in this thread. With how our FR on campus are looking, if Adams and Moses can contribute this year, I would not be opposed to taking on a project. Although, how old is Blaise?
EDIT: Can we also change the thread title since he has reclassified to '12

I have no idea about this player, but I'd really like to see a return to a truly tall man in the middle. Roy was a huge defensive presence that a 6'9" simply cannot be unless he's one of those once every ten years or so guys (like Zo).
I live Tyler Adams' bulk, but he's never going to alter the number of shots Roy did. 7' have the wonderful advantage that they affect EVERY shot nearby, and do it without having to jump, or get out of defensive or rebounding position.
I love that we've added size and length at the 3 and 4 -- that can add -- but there's nothing like a D that funnels the ball to a 7'. You can get ultra-aggressive on the perimeter or simply hide a slow perimeter defender. You force mid-range jumpers -- and generally long mid-range jumpers -- and that's a good thing in college ball.

I like the write up on him....strong yet agile for his size, good motor, runs the floor well, soft hands, gets after it on the boards, and good shot blocker. That's far more than could have been said for Roy when he arrived at the hilltop. Teach the kid a jump hook and have him shoot a few hundred FT's a day and we've got ourselves a player.
Dave Telep had this to say in calling Mbargorba a breakout player:
"A center who is pushing 7-0, Mbargorba is an equally talented defender and offensive threat. Most are surprised by his ability to pass the ball which makes him more valuable for high-majors"
7 footer who is talented on defense and can pass? I'm in. I kind of wish we could see how Moses and Adams look beforehand though.
Sounds like we are still in the hunt here, as well (along with Vanderbilt and Northwestern).
TP, where did you see this? I've seen him mention George Washington but haven't seen Georgetown mentioned for months. If he is listing Hoyas, I like it--good athlete/mobile and smart kid.
Both are good options--Upshaw is more of a polished offensive player--very skilled, can post/face, good touch, hard worker--he dropped 30+ lbs this past year and really upped his stock. Legit 7'0 too.
Mbargorba is a shot blocker/defensive presence--more athletic then Upshaw--but Upshaw isn't as awkward as Roy was entering Georgetown-so it's not a case of Upshaw being a sloth-just Mbargorba being a guy who really can get up/down the court. He's 6-10 range I'd say.
Like both kids and glad Hoyas are involved with both.
My personal preference of the two would be Upshaw due to being stronger/thicker build and more of a threat-especially on the blocks. I like Blaise's upside/strong academics too-he'd stick around for degree and develop and he's a good defensive presence but more BE or whatever they'll end up calling the remaining teams--ready is Upshaw
