Observations:
1. Don't know who reffed. That's a good sign. EVen handed game. no issues. 2. CW played his best game as a Hoya. I guess he read the thread and learned from it. I just hope this game doesn't go to his head. Keep up the great work Chris. You are proving Daytona (W)right. Best point guard in the league. 3. JC hit some onion threes. Also was a beast on the Offensive Boards for some put-backs. 4. GM played like the best big man in the Big East. Ate up the inside with shots, Reb and GREAT assists for easy 2's. 5. Some great minutes by Vee (sweet floater) and Hollis (tough D-needs to practice his FTs). 6. Austin played a great 2nd half and made three sweet shots and was big hitting all FTs at the end. 7. Seeing JT3 animated for lack of D, was a very pleasant sight. I think he finally (LOL) gets it. Way to go. 8. Keep the hating on BUM-Gives us great MOJO for the tourney. 9. Pasch is more of a tool that McDonough, if that's possible. 10. Someone needs to tell Doris that Shane Clark graduated from Nova two years ago. 11. Gottlieb actually praised us after the game and said that Cuse's 2-3 zone is attackable by teams similar to us. 12. Too bad 'cuse fans will have lost all that money for tix in Indy. LOL 13. Redemption Tour 2-0 with two to go.

Definitely. And, I dont buy we cant jump people if they dont stumble. Syracuse went from being out of the tournament to a #5 seed when they won the BE tourney one year. Beating 3 top ten teams in 3 days is #2 worthy. ok we need to stop counting chickens. do you forget how we played after we beat duke??? Fair enough. Hard not drink the kool-aid after that game. ;D

Back from the game (lost my voice and was actually sweating for a lot of the game). Lots of Cuse fans (saw actually sitting all around Cuse fans) but the Hoya fans near me were quite loud which was nice to see. Actually had the added bonus of riding the subway back to work with Paul Tagliabue. (He had a big grin on his face). First off, gotta give some love to my boy Hollis. Although he missed some free throws which almost gave me a heart-attack, loved his play. That's what we need to go deep in the tourney off the bench. I've been on the Hollis bandwagon for a while now and will continue to ride it. What can I say about the starters as a group? Gutsy. Played with heart, intensity, passion. Loved it. And under control for most of the game. Our defense could have been better (but we matched Cuse every time they came down and drained a shot). Kudos to Wright. Really ran the team very well today. Kudos to Austin. Great effort. Same to Jason. As for Greg, that man's vision is incredible (I still wish he would be more assertive in the paint but he is oh so special). And here's to hoping that Julian isn't sick. Throwing up yesterday, didn't play much today. (Again, would like to see Vee get some more minutes - that floater of his was money). Finally, III and the staff did a fantastic job today. Fantastic. We could hear you guys on TV. Great job all around. And I'll second the love for Hollis. He was great today when he wasn't on the free throw line! His defense in particular was really solid.

But personally, I need to hear more about the reaction of Cuse fans around you as the game slipped away. Couldn't make it today b/c of work, and was insanely jealous of the opportunity to watch Orange fans yelling at the refs, screaming at Boe-hole and dumping their tickets on the way out. Could you please elaborate.

GREAT GAME!
VEE WITH THE FLOATER OH MY!!! CHRIS WRIGHT>>>FANTASTIC!
would much rather face 'quette than a Editeded off Nova team that we run up the score on.....
also Quette's played the same amount of games....so legs wise it would be a similar matchup

Part of the fun of beating SUcks is visiting their boards afterward. Several people have decided they can't win with the zone after all. Many more now have no use for the BET. Probably justified when you've never won as a one seed.

I can't wait to hear Sean McDonough cry on air tonight! Last night Raftery was ragging on McDonough, saying he had called Dave Pasch and begged to switch so McDonough could call the game this afternoon - that might have been the only thing that woukld have made it sweeter!

I am proud to don the Blue and Grey every day, but today, I am especially proud to be a Hoya! We played with so much heart out there, and you could tell how much the players wanted that win. Beating SUcks is one of the best feelings in the world, and we couldn't have picked a better time to do it! Kudos to our Hoyas for leaving it all on the floor and getting past another obstacle on Revenge Road, and hopefully we'll be able to pull off some more magic tomorrow! HOYA SAXA!!!!!!

Pete Thamel just tweeted that the Onuaku X'Ray's were negative, so that shouldn't play into their seeding.

Pete Thamel just tweeted that the Onuaku X'Ray's were negative, so that shouldn't play into their seeding. Not a doctor, but I think you also have to do an MRI to see if there are ligament or meniscal injuries. Looked like the team doctor was doing some tests while Onuaku was on the ground to check the stability of the knee. ON EDIT: Thamel is a tool.

Couldn't make it today b/c of work, and was insanely jealous of the opportunity to watch Orange fans yelling at the refs, screaming at Boe-hole and dumping their tickets on the way out. Could you please elaborate. There was a daughter-father next to me cheering for Cuse. Very respectful actually. The dad kept complimenting Monroe's court vision. He was very impressed. Then a Cuse couple to the other side of me. Didn't say or cheer much at all throughout the game. Behind me, there was an entire row of obnoxious Cuse fans. One of them kept trying to match me in terms of who was louder. In the last minute of the game, all I could hear them saying was how this game didn't matter, they were going to win the games that actually mattered in the tourney. Same old excuses. As I was leaving, there was a bunch of Hoya Saxa chants going on. Lots of Cuse fans were leaving at that point. Every time someone would chant Hoya, the Cuse fans leaving behind me would shout, "you're still f$ggots". It was completely classless.
