way to go Vernon. No bitterness, he'll be a heck of a college player this year and next and we could have definetely used him this year. Hope the kid continues to dominate the SEC in a way he had trouble doing in the Big East.

I thought Macklin played OK, other than the obvious charity stripe difficulties. And as I mentioned in the other thead, our free throw issues are limited to Vern. 22-46 in the two games last week -- both losses. Ugh ...

Yeah, Vernon carried us against Ole Miss. I think he had 16 of our 27 first half points. And like you said, 6-6 from the line. This team is strange. In back to back losses at South Carolina and against Xavier, we were 22-46 from the line. But in the two games since then -- wins against Auburn and Ole Miss, we were something like 34-42.
