Yes we need a 2010 forward.

We can really recruit anyone for 2011. We will only have 7 players (guards: Starks, Sanford, Clark; forwards/centers: Thompson, Sims, Benimon, Lubick) although I suspect JTIII will pull another trick out of his hat with the 2010 class.
I think people are drawing way too stark a contrast between some of these guys. I think it's safe to say that all these kids coming out of high school aren't very polished in their games (obviously, some less than others). Hopkins may need work, but Rak doesn't have much of an offensive game right now. Love the kid, but he isn't the next Melo. I haven't seen Jordan O. play at all so I won't comment on him. But I would take both Rak and Hopkins (and if he don't get one, I would take the other). Same with Cook and Johnson (would be happy to have either of them).
The other thing I think we are doing is drawing bright lines with positions when basketball is moving away from that. Even in the NBA, 4 and 5 are mostly interchangeable and you are seeing the 2 and 3 interchangeable more and more. So as someone mentioned, I don't think we need to move Hollis, he can play multiple positions (even the 4 when we've gone small). But I agree, another SF in the 11 class would be nice. What is the latest with Gbinije? I confess I haven't been following him. He is a SF. He isn't going to UNC either with commitments from Hairston and McAdoo. I know Virginia is recruiting him hard.

Gbinije I heard its Wake as favorite...but thats just internet chatter.
I agree with what you are saying Damnhoya, thats why I can't really see why people look as players as stagnat. jt3 does have some hand in how these kids turn out.
Thats why I was saying Hopkins offensive abilities, I'd think you be silly to pass on. The thing was as a Soph. He wasn't even close to the player he is now. The kid has been getting better each year. If people here saw Jordon O they would not want him if they don't want Hopkins. I think a man mountain who can run, has soft hands and isn't an explosive jumper right now is too good to pass on.
