Why is Denver better then you thought? Who have they beaten? Best team they've faced is Cincy--DALLAS SUCKS. Revisiting this statement in light of today's game...

I like football. Just wish DC were getting the real NFC game next week (Giants-Saints) because Skins-Chiefs isn't it.

Denver is the team who will end up around 9-7 or 8-8 by end of year and people deleted over early in year. As per every game in NFL--always some fun interpretations of the rules--and for whatever reason--Brady sucks at Mile High--hell Jake Plummer and Kyle Orton led Bronco teams have beaten him. I don't believe in them at all and think their old legs on defense will show come November/on and a "bus driver" type of offense sucks when forced to win games.

For a minute after the game, I thought the Ultimate Warrior was coaching the Broncos. What the heck was that?

Dan Snyder had dinner with Joe Gibbs after the Redskin loss to Panthers. What gives?

RDF, I've got to admit that I keep trying to think that Denver is doing it with smoke and mirrors, but every week that goes along, seems to show that maybe the early evaluations were somewhat flawed. Winning "pretty" and winning, pretty much count the same. Granted the schedule has been favorable, but that is a "part of the game." Maybe one of the more recent Belichek protege's has in fact change the attitude of the Broncos. Maybe, just maybe they have added some unseen intangibles. Only time will tell.
Not to get lost amongst many other games, did the Jaguars totally crap their pants yesterday or what? That was absolutely pathetic. The Seahawks are not a good team, but they absolutely destroyed the Jags -- and this after some were thinking that Del Rio finally had them going in the right direction. No, the Florida pro teams SUCK! Dolphins have a chance to prove me wrong tonight, and I'd love to see them do it. But my head tells me that the J-E-T-S-JETS, JETS, JETS!! Get it done.

You have to give the NFL, ESPN, or whoever is responsible some credit. They have done a pretty good job selecting the Monday night games so far this year. With the exception of Dallas-Carolina, pretty much every game has gone down to the wire (OK, maybe not GB-Minny, but the Packers did close to within a touchdown late). It's either pretty good anticipation on their part, or the fix is in. I'm not sure which. Move over Tom Brady. There's a new Ann Arbor quarterback in town!

I sure am glad my heart won out over my head last night. I like the Fins and it's good to see the power running game rewarded. It's also good that yet another prima dona like Braylon Edwards didn't steal the show. But he damn sure tried.

If you mean by making a sensational catch (still think he got in the end zone) and playing every down with only two days of practice with a new team under his belt, then yeah i guess. I've been following edwards since he was an underclassman at michigan and he has always been a fierce competitor. sure, he has had a couple minor brushes with law enforcement and had some issues while on the Browns, but you try being a perennial all-pro type talent and languishing on a hopeless team. Braylon Edwards earned a ton of respek last night in my opinion.

If I played for the Browns, I'd be pretty miserable and lashing out as well. The Jets got a star in Braylon Edwards.
Having said that, ALL wide receivers are prima donnas pretty much. Guys like Marvin Harrison or Derrick Mason (and even he is pretty full of himself) are the exceptions, not the rule.

I'm not sure Marvin Harrison is a prima donna, but there's quite a bit of evidence he was involved in shooting a guy.

Braylon Edwards earned a ton of respek last night in my opinion. He's a talent, no doubt. And for him to have that kind of impact after only practicing with his new teammates for a few days, is simply amazing. I might have been a bit too critical of him personally. But I really do get tired of the flamboyance that accompanies far too many of the marquee wideouts. In any case, what Braylon did last night was impressive, and I think the Jets will be very glad they acquired him.

Being a Chiefs fan has been no fun as of late, but I still rather root for them than the Redskins at this point...

as a vikings fan, i'm very happy they are 6-0, but this team will not win a SB with childress as head coach. he coaches not to lose. he did it in the SF game and he did it again yesterday. the saints, on the other hand, are always attacking offensively. what in the hell did you pay QB4 12 mill to do exactly? hand off 3 times and settle for a fg?
i pray winfield is not out for an extended period of time. they are a completely different team defensively without him out there.

If the Vikings face the Saints--they'll win--they OWN the Saints. One of the few teams Vikes actually find ways to win no matter what happens. Just find it very "coincidental" that 2 most likely candidates to be shipped to Los Angeles and in need of new stadiums are off to "great starts". NFL football is WWE during regular season--and in postseason they let you play football.

The Vikings have gotten lucky, but it's not like they've had any major calls go there way that I can think of (heck, the Arkansas-Florida game had more "judgment" calls go against the underdog then the Vikings have had go in their favor all season) And the Saints have destroyed everyone they've played. There's no Lakers v. Kings style officiating craziness, so how is the NFL doing it WWE style?

Agreed. I was saying before the year that the Vikings had a Super Bowl caliber team except at two spots--QB and Coach. Favre (as much as this pains me) is playing like a Super Bowl caliber QB (of course, he has to maintain that play, which I'm doubtful he'll be able to do) but Chilly remains a mediocre coach. Winfield's injury completely changed the game. Almost every big passing play the Ravens completed was to the guy Karl Paymah was covering, and a lot of them were "unbelievable" aka shouldn't have been completed--I have to think that a Pro Bowl corner breaks up a few of them, unlike a guy the Broncos cut this off season. And was it just me, or did the announcers completely forget / never said that Winfield was out? With Flacco tearing up the Vikes' secondary, you'd have thought they would have at least said something about the Vikings' missing their best corner, but I never heard anything like that.
