Indiana, Last year they played three guards who eat up almost all the minutes ( 80) for guard play. Dumes was their leading scorer, Jones was their second and Willaims pitche din about 8 points per game. they all are back. Who is Jeremiah going to take PT from, other than playing D on the other team's shooter, if they have one? Jeremiah was on the court over Wallace as a freshman in the final possession of a tied Elite 8 game. Tom Crean is familiar with Jeremiah's game and his reasons for transferring. (PT) I would be rather shocked if Rivers isn't starting for IU. And I concur with those above me, thanks so much for the recaps, they make the dog days of summer a little lighter.

Being put in over Wallace on defense is like being put in over Macklin on the free throw line, not really saying much. I don't think anyone here questions his defensive abilities as he is one of the best defenders I have seen, but basketball is played on both sides of the court and the other half, is well... ugly. All that being said, I am fairly confident Rivers will get a pretty good amount of playing time next year, for the simple fact the rest of Indiana isn't that good and he is a top notch defender. He has also probably improved his offensive skillset since his time at the hilltop so I am sure he will be a solid player over there on both ends of the court this time.
