Monica keeps up her consistent running over in Europe. I expect her to be picked for the relay pool (4x400) for the World Championships in Berlin in August.
Official Results - Women - 400 Metres - Summary Pos Athlete Nat Mark Pts 1 Shericka Williams JAM 50.63 20 2 Antonina Krivoshapka RUS 50.80 16 3 Monica Hargrove USA 51.01 14 4 Novlene Williams-Mills JAM 51.15 12 5 Natasha Hastings USA 51.49 10 6 Aliann Pompey GUY 51.49 8 7 Yulia Gushchina RUS 51.55 6 8 Nicola Sanders GBR 51.55 4
The numbers at the extreme right of the times are points awarded towards the Gran Prix. Monica has quite a few points from this summer's running.

Monica is in the top ten in the world in the 400m right now. That should seal her selection for the 4x400m relay.

I seem to be wrong on the 4x400m selections. This is from the USA Track and Field website:
4x400m Relay Pool: Sanya Richards (Austin, Texas); Debbie Dunn (Norfolk Va.); Jessica Beard (Euclid, Ohio); Natasha Hastings (Los Angeles); Lashinda Demus (Palmdale, Calif.); Allyson Felix (Los Angeles)
The pool includes Sanya Richards, who won the trials plus Debbie Dunn and Jessica Beard, who were 2nd and 3rd. Lashinda Demus is our best 400H runner (probably best in the world right now) and Allyson Felix is our best 200m runner. But I think Monica has been beating Hastings all summer and is showing better potential.
