I can barely believe it either, but we still need one more win to be .500 in the BE (we play 16 conference games)

For those of you able to watch the game-how did we shut down Douby and Shields? Did we do anything special, or was it just a solid performance on D by Wallace/Cook/Crawford?

Depending upon when (but definitely before the season), I was predicting 8-8 and/or 9-7 on more optimistic days. Of course, no one could have predicted that we would be in a position to go 10-6 (knock on wood), but part of the reason I predicted this was because we do have a relatively easy BE schedule. Of course, I was thinking that 8-8 was even very optimistic, and I didn't expect us to be able to win some of the games we have won to date, but then again, I also thought that St. John's and SHU were both gonna be worse than they are. It's the BE - every game is tough; we're not talking ACC here, ha! Seriously, let's not get ahead ourselves, let's just beat WVU on Saturday in front of a passionate home crowd. I'm now seriously thinking about making the trip, despite thinking I wouldn't head down to D.C. until the Nova game. JT III and don't forget, the players, have done an amazing job. Keep up the good work, and as they cliche goes, one game at a time...
LET'S GO HOYAS!!! WIPE OUT WEST VIRGINIA!

A great point in giving the players credit.
As much as III has done an amazing job, Cook and Bowman have proved themselves willing to learn and change. The freshman, particularly Green, have been remarkable. Great students make the teacher look even better.
What is more is that there is a foundation of character and leadership that III can build upon with the incoming players
