We could've been #1 damnit if we had beaten pitt! Mmmmmm yeahhhhhhh zero percent chance Georgetown would have beaten out Duke for that. Word. Although this has definitely been cats and dogs living together week in college basketball.

well we would've had the same record but with 2 top 5 wins to their none. any intelligent voter would put us #1. we would've earned it. Of course we didn't so it doesn't matter.

Pitt will be number 1, and congratulations to them.
I blame lic for the Pitt loss. I think the team saw lic's cogent posts of the last few days, and became totally discombobulated at the thought of that continuing ad infinitum. Curse you, lic. ;D

I actually concur. You can think about moving up all you want, but I'd rather not see blind joy of moving up x number of spots on this board. We should be like our team and not get ahead of ourselves. Continue to work hard and if the results in the rankings come great, if not it's out of our control. So those posters here who got ahead of themselves and showed a little blind joy actually had an impact on the Hoyas' performance? Very interesting. I can bend spoons with my mind, also.
