I love the Jeff Green walk-away-with-a-scowl form of celebration. So much better than guys who sprint down the court like a little kid.

He'll be an all-star. If he gets on a good team that gets national coverage, he'll be a perennial all-star.

Jeff has been hitting the weights hard and has definetely been spending some time around the 3 point line...I have to admit his improvement has even surprised me.

As an admittedly very casual Warriors fan, if there's a player that has to beat us at the buzzer, then I'm glad it's Jeff Green.
Also, I think the Georgetown Club of Northern California was at the game, as they were last year. If so, I'd like to hear their reports.

Jeff has derrick mckey's skillset. The difference is, he displays a drive that McKey never had, which is going to make him an all-star more than once in his career.

Jeff just worked his magic and added a bit to his resume.. they were down by three with about 4 seconds to go and they were intentionally fouled so green went to the line, made the first and then missed the second on purpose masterfully on the back iron came straight back to him and finished to send it to overtime

i really wish i could get excited for what jeff green is doing in the nba right now but i just cant If we played this badly last year, I would still be happy for Jeff, but it would be bitter sweet. This year, he would have graduated anyway. It's not like he could be helping us through our current woes, even if he wanted to. So good for him that he's going to be the next Hoya NBA All-Star.

Jeff had a hell of a stat line in the OT loss to the Kings last night: 28 points, 13 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals in 48 minutes. Typical Jeff -- doing some of everything and making the game easier for everyone on his team. I didn't think he would work as an NBA PF (I thought he would need to be a SF cuz of height), but he has definitely put on some weight and is holding his own and playing very well.
That mix of him and Durant at the forwards is making it difficult on teams. Both are long enough to get inside and score and rebound, but both are shooting over 40% from 3 and good handles for guys their size. They remind me of the Torkuglu/Lewis combo in Orlando -- interchangeable forwards that are big enough and skilled enough to do whatever the situation requires. Now all the Thunder need is a Dwight Howard type enforcer in the middle and they'd be set (don't we all wish we had that, though).

Yeah, I am thrilled at how well he is doing and love following his progress. Westbrook is also putting up some great numbers for them, so they are developing quite a core.

He made an awesome play to send the SAC game to OT. Down by 3, at the line with a few seconds to play, he made the first, knocked the second one off the back of the rim, got his own rebound and hit the short jumper to send the game to overtime. I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone execute that play so cleanly.

Jeff is starting to look like an All-Star down the road. Well to us he is now, but to the voters and the league it will take a couple of years of consistent play.
