Would be a much harder game if Cornelio had not left. [scarcasm, in case it's not obvious]

i think we need the sarcasm detector embedded in the board so people don't have to follow up their posts with sarcasm asterisks

Sarcasm from a group of Georgetown grads. Who'd have seen that coming?

If I recall correctly the American team beat Clydes in Kenner, so this is a revenge game

lol, they did but Clyde's had Jeff that game, and the American team had Jose Olivero who basically was the only reason they won. Junior Burrough from Virginia too had a big game, it wasnt the American kids who did anything, lol.

Can we please call them AU on the board so we don't get a bad rap for making seemingly anti-American posts? Let's save that for the Blue and Gray board, right?
True story: I went to a concert this past summer up at "The Tavern" at AU. It's essentially their version of our Hoyas in Leavey. In fact, it actually overlaps with their Fast Break/Hoya Court. However, AU is a 100% dry campus apparently. Disturbed by the fact that a concert venue called "The Tavern" didn't serve any alcohol whatsoever, the lead singer called out at one point, "Damn, they should call this school UnAmerican!"

So, no return game for AU? Are we giving them any gate receipts? I think it would be kinda fun to go to a big game in Bender sometime.

Off topic but how did the Clyde's team let Jose Oliverio dominate them? I used to play against him and he's good but not Georgetown level good, atleast I didn't think so.

Do they still have the Chick-Fil-A though? Cause damn if that's not American (and awesome).

I used to play against him and he's good but not Georgetown level good, atleast I didn't think so. he just was hitting every 3 and breaking down Bobby Maze and Vernon Hamilton(who played with clydes) and getting in the lane and dishing to open people. dont havethe stats for that game(im sure someone here does) but he had to have like 30 and 13ast that game.

They DO have the Chick-Fil-A cuz they sponsor an LPGA tourney. However, I have no flipping idea what a Chick-Fil-A is.... does that make ME un-American?

I have a hunch Sims will have a really nice game. Double digit points, a few boards, some nice minutes.

If you live west of the Mississippi, it's not a surprise. If not, yes. chickfila.com/#homeSeen in malls and now more drive-throughs near you. But closed on Sundays cause that's the Lord's day.
