Well.... with the passage of a little bit of time, I am officially ready to wish the Big Ticket nothing but the best. However, with Greg coming in and having seen his level of skill already, I can't help but wonder how the (hopefully) friendly competition would have impacted each of their games. Add to it that we're a bit more up-tempo.... I'm hoping for V-Mack's sake that he didn't, in the end, really cost himself a great opportunity to take his game to the next level.

Now I see why Macklin was on the first plane smoking out of DC. I hope he does well in Gatorland but I like what we have better. The fact that he can catch is a sign Monroe is a better player than Macklin.

When I saw these two names in the same thread title I threw up in my mouth. Please remove one of the names from the title as soon as humanely possible. It's just bad ju ju.

I really wish we had Macklin back this year. I think those two would complement(sp) each other very well.

I'd just like to point out that if Monroe keeps up his current pace of made free throws (he's currently averaging 5 per game), he'll pass Macklin's career total in the third game of the OSC.

You're gonna feel the same way I do. I think Vernon made an il-informed decision, but it was his decision.

I'm just hoping Sims fills in. That did look like a great pair for the few minutes they played together. I guess Macklin would have helped, but if Sims is going to have the bright future we hope, then I'm seeing him in that role.
