What's everyone going as this year?
I'll be Magnum P.I. tonight, Captain Hammer on Saturday. Both require facial hair adjustments.

Every year, I promise myself I am going to go as Frank The Bunny, and every year I cheap out, because that is one expensive costume to buy and/or make.
Think I'll go with Robert Smith.
However, I fully expect to be creeped out by the number of deranged, loser parents who dress their little kids up as Barack Obama or Sarah Palin.

And those deranged parents will similarly be creeped out by a man approaching middle-age dressed up as a middle-aged musician whose looks haven't changed since the new wave 80s ;D
Sorry, that was a softball. Have fun.

Most played out costume - Heath Ledger's Joker or Ashley Todd-variant (drawing a J or a B on your cheek)?

Have fun. Well done. But I can't pull off a young musician. And I don't plan on hanging around any parents or little kids, if I can avoid it. Besides, my...um...physique more closely resembles the Robert Smith of today, as opposed to the Robert Smith of 1983. --- sigh --- It's either that or pull out my red t-shirt with a 'T' on it again and go as Terrence of Terrence & Phillip. (I am particularly proud of that one.) Note to Bando: hilarious link. Note to Elvado: hilarious costume idea.

Remember, in deference to your sensitive nature, we decided on pals instead of b___ b_____. On offense, Boz.

That response is going to raise Bando's ire on multiple levels...but it will all come back to the fact that you are a talentless, ignorant troll who should seriously consider seppuku.

My best ever costume was one year we had a costume party at our work (EPA lab) and we went as a quadrupole mass spectrometer. For those unfamiliar with this piece of equipment (and you must not watch CSI) the guts of the instrument is the quadrupole mass filter, which separates ions according to their mass. The quad is four stainless steel rods held parallel in a diamond shape. So we got four Polish guys (myself included) and made cylinders out of poster paper wrapped in aluminum foil. We only tied for the best costume with the Texas chainsaw massacre.

One teenage girl came to the door last night with a box instead of a bag to receive her treats. On one side of the box she had an Obama-Biden sticker and on the other she had a McCain-Palin sticker. I think she surveyed the yard signs to figure out which side was to face the "victim". Up and coming politician or future flip-flopper.
