www.collegesports.com/sports/s-pkasiecki/content/012405aaa.htmlI guess it's not exactly a pre-game article but Georgetown is at the top of the list in an analysis of teams at collegesports.com. "Georgetown's win over Notre Dame brings the surprising Hoyas to 12-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big East. They already have signature wins at Pittsburgh and at Villanova, so adding Notre Dame to that list puts the Georgetown very much in the running right now -- and its RPI is 34. They also have a loss to Oral Roberts in the Rainbow Classic, but that likely would not be held against them very much."

Then came John Thompson's success - thanks to players willing to play for him - followed by John Chaney and Nolan Richardson. In my house, we rooted for our home team, Kansas, then Georgetown, which might as well have been located in Amsterdam as far as we knew." www.detnews.com/2005/highschools/0501/25/D04-69785.htm"Don't look for U-M or MSU to sign junior Ramar Smith of Detroit King, ranked No. 2 in the preseason top 25. Before the start of this season, Smith listed Arizona, Arkansas, Cincinnati, Connecticut, Georgetown and North Carolina as his favorites, and shook his head when asked about U-M or MSU."

...and the Hoyas Reportwww.washingtontimes.com/sports/20050125-115505-3758r.htma bit harsh on Roy: "Despite Hibbert's selection as last week's Big East rookie of the week and his game-winning dunk against Notre Dame on Sunday, the Hoyas' offense flows far more smoothly when he is consigned to the bench."

Note that the Wash Post recap made the front-page list of top stories on washingtonpost.com for the first time in recent memory. I could be wrong, but it seems I rarely see sports game coverage featured there. Can't wait to see the treatment after the big BC win.
