If we're speaking about hypotheticals, let's just say I'd rather have Roy on the line with the opportunity to get us back in the game than Chris. Oh, wait, that's right...

like guru, i would just like to see the play because i missed it the first time...not trying to rehash why we lost.
as for chris's free throw shooting prowess or lack thereof, its irrelevant. while the 3 points from the line would have been helpful, the reason the no call was important is that it would have sent curry to the bench for the final 3 minutes.

CAN WE PLEASE STOP. this is getting ridiculous. we lost the game because we played like garbage in the 2nd half. not because of the refs. when did this turn into a su(ck) board where there is nothing but crying about the refs. it's over. move on. exactly! the hilarious thing is a 7 year old sitting next to me, who also witnessed our collapse in person understood why we lost, and those old enough to type on a chat board still want to ignore the facts and make excuses. i never imagined a 7 year could be more of a realist than young adults......................... the pathetic thing is those posters who poked fun at nova, wva, etc when they cried about the officiating and are now doing the exact same thing.

People who act as if calls can't have an impact on a game are just as delusional as those who think refs always affect the outcome. Watching the game, I felt our turnovers were the major reason we lost, but I was mad at a lot of the crazy calls. My wife on the other hand, kept saying how the Hoyas were getting screwed and that it would be almost impossible to beat both the other team and the officials. I think we both had some good points.

Sixer, while I normally agree that people might be a little too quick to jump on/exaggerate what you say, this is kind of a thread about this one single play where people want to find a pic/video or discuss what they saw. If you don't want to hear people talking about this, the easiest way to do so is to just not click on this thread. You're probably not going to convince people (myself included) that the calls didn't have anything to do with the game. It's a valid point that we did a whole bunch of other crap in that game that made us lose, but there are plenty of other threads about that stuff too. The few of us that did want to talk about this play, let us.

Completely agree. Maybe we should be discussing the one point out put from Greg Monroe in the McDonald game of last week
