Other than the Republican Party in the US, is there any other major political party on the world that believes this is hoax?

Most of those models are ground-truthed against real data. If they do not work, the models can be fine tuned to come closer to the real data. I used models based on quantum mechanics, but our results were always tested against real data. Quantum mechanics replaced Newtonian mechanics as the model that 'closely' represents the real universe. Where closely is probably good to 99.999% or better. The trouble with QM is that it is so complicated for larger systems that call for approximations. As computers become more and more complex, the approximations become closer to the real.

When I practiced environmental law, we had ground water modelling for transport of contaminants over the course of time. At every military base that was BRAC'ed (closed) there was typically a plume of some contaminant (TCE for example). It was all based upon data. I won't pretend to fully understand modelling -- just enough to defend or take the deposition of experts.

What are the odds that she’s also very interested in both sides of the science on evolution?

Smh...
The initiative represents the Trump administration’s most recent attempt to question the findings of federal scientists and experts on climate change and comes less than three weeks after Director of National Intelligence Daniel Coats delivered a worldwide threat assessment that identified it as a significant security risk.

There was a very lengthy article in yesterday's LA Times about how the EPA may soon be stepping back from its decades-long approach of taking a conservative position toward certain pollutants, treating them as bad even if there is no absolute evidence that they cause harm. There's a renegade scientist (not sure what else to call him) who has been promoting for years the position that certain levels of toxins are actually good for people. This is the position that the EPA is now considering adopting. It's expected to wreak havoc on all sorts of existing EPA rules, including those for clean air and water. Somewhere, Nevada is weeping. As should the rest of us be. Let's hear it for Trump's Environmental Pollution Agency.

Yes, I am weeping over my former Agency. I weep for my former co-workers (they closed down the lab in Las Vegas, sent them to the east coast) and their inability to do the scientific mission they were hired to do. I also weep for the American people (and the people of the world), especially the young people, who will bear the burden of climate change in the future. It seems as if the people adamant about denying climate change are old men, who will not be around for the full force of this global climate disaster.

"The solution to climate change is more population" is the dumbest thing I think I have ever heard.
The Republican Party doesn't have serious answers for anything.

Republicans are upset about the Green New Deal because they misunderstood and thought it was another Tax Heist or some other way to rob this country and add commas to their bank accounts...
