... says the guy linking a former TV weatherman's blog. Who makes some good points. Same tactic: ignore what is said; trash the spokesperson.

But if you believe in climate change now, cool. Welcome to the dark side...

You linked the blog of a former weatherperson. Maybe you read it as me trashing him because his credentials don't exactly scream expertise. Nor did I say that I didn't read the article you linked. I did read it. I didn't comment either way on the article itself.

Drain the Swamp?
They charged him $50 a night to live a block from the capitol and he only had to pay for nights when he stayed there... Sweet deal...
Welp...

*His landlord's company lobbies on behalf of a company which exports liquid natural gas (LNG).
Recap of Pruitt's living arrangement:
-He pays only $50 for each night he actually stays in a lobbyist's apartment -His adult daughter stays for free -Pruitt took a 40k, taxpayer funded, first class trip to Morocco, to lobby their Government in favor of LNG imports - which is in NO WAY part of his job at EPA. -Then he BILLED THE TAXPAYERS for his 1st class flight and accommodations.

The Trump team and Republicans in Congress don't mind a lot of corruption so he'll probably be fine...

The Trump team and Republicans in Congress don't mind a lot of corruption so he'll probably be fine... Well, we'll see. Of all of Trump's terrible appointments, I considered this one to be the worst from the get-go. I really didn't anticipate, though, that he would turn out to be such a slimeball, and I'm not sure that even the Republicans will let this one go. So Trump will just have to go find another guy who thinks that the EPA shouldn't exist.

Trump must have greenlighted throwing Pruitt under the bus to distract from Russian treason because State TV went after him:

White House told Pruitt to not do TV but he forged ahead, per senior officials. Fox interview seen as a disaster in building, and senior White House officials believe he was involved in staff raises, contrary to what he said. w/@eilperin & @brady_dennis:
If he get fired it will be because he sucked in his FoxNews interview not because of the conflicts of interest and massive corruption.

The Daily Beast finds that the lobbyist whose condo Scott Pruitt was renting was personally representing a natural gas company, an airline giant, and a major manufacturer that had business before the EPA at the same time he was renting that room to Pruitt. www.thedailybeast.com/scott-pruitt-says-his-lobbyist-landlords-clients-didnt-have-business-before-the-epa-they-did … NYT reports there were requests for Pruitt to get a bulletproof SUV, for a bulletproof EPA security desk, for Pruitt's motorcade to use sirens to get him faster to meetings and to a restaurant (Le Diplomate!), for a $100,000-a-month charter plane membership..

So they love coal and they love Scott Pruitt. Not exactly a ringing endorsement of those folks.
