...if you need a fish wrapper. Lots of posters , including me, find Barker Davis' coverage of the Hoyas appealing. I wouldn't even think of touching the Times for much else. Actually, I almost never see the times on the news stands. But I do get he weekly review edition of the Washington Times. That is a running gag with a bunch of my liberal friends. I will almost always have a copy of "The Times" close by. The weekly edition has a lot of editorials from during the week. It is a decent assortment of work from those on the right -- O'Reilly, Will, Buckley etc... and those on the left -- Dowd, Ivans (RIP), Raspberry and those more in the middle -- Sowell, Maxwell etc... HiFi, as a self-professed fan of the W. Times, I am sure you are well aware the paper is owned by the Moonies... that is, the Rev. Sun Yung Moon and his religious cult. I haven't met a great many people who put any faith (no pun intended) into the credibility of that publication -- outside of Barker's excellent coverage of the Hoyas.

The kid reminds me a heck of a lot of Jeff Green and that is awesome in my opinion. So the rest can go fly a kite. It is his complete game that makes him so attractive as a recruit and makes him particularly well-suited to the "Georgetown Offense," so I'm not at all concerned about his lack of numbers. Having a great passing big man will be a huge help after Jeff left and Roy leaves this year--the Georgetown offense runs best with big guys that can find cutters and open shooters.
Is there any chance that Greg doesn't start next year? I know that sounds weird when talking of a frosh, but being so highly recruited and considering the players we have, it would be a weird situation and at the same time possible. I think the most logical lineup as mentioned above would be Macklin, Greg, DaJuan, Freeman, and Sapp, but I could easily see Wright pushing for a starting spot and I don't see DaJuan, Freeman or Sapp giving up their spot and I think we need the post presence of Macklin--it doesn't seem that Monroe could really man up on Centers in the Big East. We would obviously be a much smaller team with Macklin, Summers, Freeman, Sapp, and Wright, but with the time it takes to grasp the system for froshies and the ability of Wright, does anyone think there's a decent shot at that happening? I guess it all depends on Monroe's development and ability to grasp the system, but I hope personally I hope he's in the starting lineup, as it will provide greater size to create mismatches and it will mean he's developing well.
