Back on topic, amidst all the Rich Harden talk, Zambrano made sure nobody forgets about him. He was filthy tonight.

If forced to discuss the Yankees in this thread, however, I'd like to take this opportunity to nominate Jason Giambi for mustache of the decade. One word: awesome.

That mustcache is great. I love how much attention it's getting. I'll bet that mustache is on steroids, though.
Back on topic, Z was ridiculous last night. It would be great to get a little run going into the break.

Lilly should just oversleep whenever the wind is blowing out.

Also, Michael Wuertz should go Edited himself.

Lilly should just oversleep whenever the wind is blowing out. In his at bat in the 2nd inning, Lilly hit a foul ball that struck a little boy in the head, seriously injuring him (kid is in a coma right now). In the inning right after that, he had absolutely nothing. I wonder if that really threw him off. I wouldn't be surprised and, frankly, I wouldn't blame him either.

Except that, after the game, he said he didn't know what had happened. I wish that had been his problem.

Also, Michael Wuertz should go Edited himself. Wuertz and Iowa-Cub-for-the-day Alfonso Soriano catch a break - it's only 92 in Tucson today.

Howry can officially eat a [male reproductive organ]. It will probably be Edmonds'.

I wish Harry Caray was alive to hear him butcher Jeff Samardzjia's name.

I wish Harry Caray was alive to hear him butcher Jeff Samardzjia's name. How true, Jack. Now coming to bat is Mark Grudja, err, Grudjala, err, I forget the rest, but it was priceless.

I could be wrong, but I think he eventually settled for calling him "the G-Man" that day.

Big 4-gamer between the Cubs and the Brewers, and the Cubs draw first blood in a game started by Sabathia. Good luck to the Cubbies.

Howry can officially eat a [male reproductive organ]. It will probably be Edmonds'. Really, he should get on with this. Although maybe it was Eyre's. What a waste of space.

11-1 in the 9th for the Cubs. Looking more and more like a 4-game sweep of Milwaukee.

From what I can tell on the gamecast, classy exit by the Brewers in the 9th. They seem as out of control as Dusty's 2004 Cubs. Maybe they'll acquire Michael Barrett and Kent Mercker for the stretch run.

VERY impressive job by the Cubs. OTOH, I wouldn't gloat too much if I were a Cub fan.

No doubt, it's just 4 games in July. Not nearly as fun as topping the Cardinals in a 5 game September series (see 2003).

This was really awesome. Will we start calling this the "Edmonds Game" now? God I hope not. I do wish that the Cubs could play like this on the road, though

Howry delays the ineviteble whacking by another day.
Is Edmonds really going to make me eat my words?
